Good day,

When we spoke we didn't get around to tummy's or bands or weight so

I haven't told you, I am having awful trouble with this second band

too. It is hopeless!!!!!!!!! I was filled to 9.4mil. could still

eat a small hog but had the worst reflux. I coughed and spat all

night every night (days were ok) but in the end I was coughing blood

and my throat was so raw I couldn't talk at all, absolutley no

voice. Yep, me, no talking!! He gave me another Vanguard because I

had too much scarring etc. for the newer, slimmer variety which he

would have preferred to use. I had all my fill, other than 4 mils.,

removed after Christmas, can eat anything now, have gained weight (I

FEEL fatter than ever before) and Dr. Talbot says my next option and

only option is for by pass also. This is for the same reason you had

to take that option. I have to wonder is it specifically the

Vanguard, so many of us with it have had trouble?? Bev, are there

stats. on these things? I have to have a barium, I've been putting

it off for 3 weeks, but when I make the effort to do that and get

the guts to swallow that dreadful acid again, Talbot will decide.

So, there we go, alike in so many other ways now we can add the

tummy business to the list. Hope all is well, we will talk again
