Was she put on it for viral issues? How long has she been on it?

Re: Amantadine

Excellent for impulsivity and attention. My daughter takes it.

....I'm very interested in this too if it tackles concentration and focus

issues. One specialist who saw my daughter rather unkindly described her

as having " Red Setter syndrome " , but I knew what he meant! She's often all

over the place like an eager puppy with a very poor attention span. He

also said " she's biochemically challenged " . Now THAT I do agree with,

knowing the mercury vacc's she's had. Is Amantadine a prescription drug

then? If it's an anti-viral, is it like Valtrex? Thanks,

It was used as an antiviral for Parkinsons but her psychiatrist has been

studying its effect on persons with autism, add, ocd, etc. He developed a

protocol that uses Niacin, Choline, Inositol, Amantadine and Lamictal that

has worked for many kids in reducing obsessions, anxiety, add and

impulsiveness.

I don't know much about the science behind it, sorry....
