just got cc results-need help

Hi - My name is and I have been a member for some time but

never posted here. I just got my canary club results back and could

use some help understanding it and needing to know what to do next.

I am taking 3 1/2 grains of Armour. 1 1/2 grains at 10 am, 1 grain

at 2:30 pm and 1 grain at 6:30 pm. I take alot of vitamins,

including magnesium.

I was taking 10 mg of DHEA and stopped a few days before the saliva

test. I was using progesterone cream and stopped it a few days

before the saliva test, too.

I do not have any energy whatsoever. It is difficult for me to do

anything, even concentrate on reading.

Free Cortisol Rhythm

7-8 am - 4 Depressed 13-24nM

11-noon 12 Elevated 5-10nM

4-5 pm 6 Normal 3-8nM

11-midnight <1 Depressed 1-4nM

Cortisol Burden 23 23-42

DHEA 3 Borderline Adults 3-10ng/ml

fTSH 68 Normal Normal 26-85

fT4 0.20 Normal Normal 0.17-0.42 ng/dl

fT3 0.40 Normal Normal 0.28-1.10 pg/ml

TPO Negative

E2 Estradiol 11 Postmenopause No HRT 1-4 pg/ml

HRT Target Range 5-13 pg/ml

Follicular 5/13 pg/ml

Luteal 7-20 pg/ml

P1 Progesterone 446 Postmenopause No HRT 5-95 pg/ml

HRT Target Range 100-300 pg/ml

Follicular 20-100 pg/ml

Luteal 65-500 pg/ml

TTF Free Testosterone 15 Normal Borderline 5-7 pg/ml

Normal 8-20 pg/ml

Here are some results of what I had taken in March and May:

on 3/30/06

WBC - 4.49 4.80-10.80

MCHC 32.3 33.0-37.0

albumin/globulin 2.4 1.0-2.1

TSH, 3rd gen 0.84 0.34-5.60

FSH 53.21

LH 33.36

T4 7.26 6.09-12.23

T3 Uptake 38.7 32.0-48.0

T7 2.80 l.95-5.87

on 5/11/06

TSH 3rd gen 0.12 0.34-5.60

Ferritin 29.9 11.0-306.8

Progesterone .61 - I started using Prog. cream last month.

Testosterone 27 10-75

Estradiol 40

DHEA Sulfate 47 25-220

Thyroglobulin AB <20.0 <20.0 IU/ML

Thyroid Peroxidase AB <10.0 Less than 35 IU/ML

I have been feeling so terrible for so long, this is no quality of

life. I would rather be dead. Not that I am going to kill myself,

but I need relief and I need it soon!

Hi ,

From your recent labs below it appears your T3 and T4 are still fairly low,

also your am and pm cortisol is very low, adjusting/raising these levels can go

along way in making you feel better. What does your dr say with regards to your

most recent readings, are they suggesting HC or addtional Thryoid meds. Your

tests are not that far off that you can not get to feeling better very soon.

why did you stop the progesterone before testing? im

confused by those labs.....

That cortisol rhythm tells me that you need HC. Just when your cortisol

should be highest, it's in the dumpster. It's elevated at noon because

ACTH was building up, trying to tell your adrenals to produce some

cortisol already! but by the time they were able to, they dumped too much.

Your DHEA is scraping bottom, too, so you might want to add 5-10mg of

that. Your thyroid hormones are way too low, and so is your ferritin.

No wonder you feel so bad!!!!
