For me there is no question. SCD has been a great help to many

members of my family. Consider this: SCD had no artifical color,

dyes, perfumes etc., like Feingold, no gluten, low or no casien

depending on what works best for your child, and there is a low

phenol version that is easy to follow.

SCD is a normal diet that your whole family can go on. It's easy,

delicious, and works.

the ONLY negative I've heard on SCD is that for some people the high

protein can increase the ammonia. A urine amino acid test would

show this. For many people it is a great diet.

And beware of the high arginine content of some nuts, like almonds,

which are favorable to herpes viruses if not sufficiently balance

with enough lysine.
