I have had a sore throat through all of treatment and don't expect it to go away till I am done. Drinking water with a little apple cidar vinegar is soothing and cough drops help too. I hope yours is only temporary though. Ally

Yes, I kept a sore throat throughout treatment. I found that if I drank a cup of hot tea with honey it soothed my throat. Drinking your water is a good thing and it really helps. I am experiencing similar problems with coughing and sore throat.

It's almost as if the more I talk, the more my throat hurts. Also,

I've been coughing off and on as if I have an upper resp. illness.

Also, the inside of my nose feels like somebody took a blow torch to

it. Have been using saline spray which helps a bit. From what I

understand, it's all part of the wonderful side effects of the drugs.

two bouts of anitbiotics and tons and i mean tons of water and this

sore throat and cough is gone. the doc said it looked viral and i

didnt need antibiotics but since i am so prone to getting sinus

infectons in addition to viral infections they dont take chances and

put me on antibiotics. I really think that the whole water thing has

so much to do with it. For like a week it was like my throat has

just dried out like a piece of jerky or something and i could not

get enough water. So know i am taking the water thing seriously and

making sure i am drinking close to a gallon a day.
