Response from one of two of our CIG medical advisors:

"Aching in response to rituximab is typically the result of nonspecific activation of the immune system. Same as with fevers, myalgias, etc. This is not too different from some of the inflammatory disorders such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. It should be fairly self-limited with rituximab.Bone pain from rituximab is very unusual. We do see bone pain with growth factors (GCSF) that is, in effect, the result of the regenerating marrow."
