Trudy,Your heart beating fast and hard very easily could be a sign of anemia. Usually you don't get anemic this early on but you could be the exception and not the rule. Your doc has your blood work, he probably already has it back. It only takes a day or so. He will definitely call you early if you are anemic. Now, for the exhaustion. You are describing what I went thru to a T. I can remember early on in tx being home alone because my hubs was at work and I was starving. It was 11 in the morning. I was headed to the kitchen to make a turkey sandwich... or so I thought. Here is how that afternoon went. Got up went into the kitchen (maybe 20 feet) got the bread down from the top of the fridge

and I was exhausted. Put 2 pieces of bread on a plate.. had to go back to bed. 45 minutes later I managed to get out of bed again and get the turkey and the miracle whip and whatever else I planned on putting on that stupid sandwich out of the fridge. It made it to the counter. Back to bed. This time I had to sleep. An hour or so later, I'm back up. Put the miracle whip on the bread... back to bed. Eventually I got that stupid sandwich made.. several trips later. It was almost 4 in the afternoon and the bread was now hard. I didn't care I pretended it was toasted and I ate it. I told my hubs when he came home that night. He told the neighbors. After that, somebody from the neighborhood would come by every afternoon and bring me something to eat. Getting to the door sometimes was more than I could handle. We started leaving the side door open and people

would just come in during the day and check on me. I have never, ever in my entire life, experienced anything like the exhaustion that I had going thru treatment. When they call it fatigue, I think that's just cause no one has come up with a name good enough for it. Fatigue isn't it. Fatigue on Steroids.. maybe close. Don't fight it. All you can do is sleep. It might be a good idea to keep some food stuffs in your room next to your bed. Something you can grab and eat if you need it. Fruit cups, pudding, applesauce.. you can get the ones that are individual servings in plastic cups at Wal Mart or any grocery store. Just to have in case you are this exhausted. Have the hubs make you something the night before and leave it in the fridge so all you have to do is grab it, maybe throw it in the microwave and get back in bed with it. This was the most horrible part of

treatment that I experienced. The pains were nothing compared to the exhaustion. Kinda feel like a zombie don't you? I hated it and I'm sure you do too.About the nose bleeds.. hopefully you won't have those but they are a pain in the ass. Actually they have no rhyme or reason. It's not necessarily an indication of anemia, it's just part of the treatment. Tyler from Aerosmith said that the nose bleeds were the worst part of his treatment followed very closely by the exhaustion. Hang in there sweetie. I know it's hard but you can do this. I know you're scared as hell every time a new symptom comes along and that's normal. You are not going to be able to clean your house. Forget about it. It's not going to happen. Just learn to ignore it. I hope this helped..Hugs,Teri From: "trudykinsey@..."

My heart is beating soo hard; not fast or anything , just so hard I feel like it is causing me to rock with each beat. Yes. Very normal. Don't panic. Too early for your blood count to get low. Give me a few to get to my computer and I will explain more. You are fine.TeriSent from my Verizon Wireless PhoneFrom: trudykinsey@... <trudykinsey@...>Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 5:51

I settled for four choc chip cookies cause I couldn't stand long enough. Seriously, holding my head up is too straining for long. I have never experienced anything like this. Labs drawn on Friday

but won't get results till nextfriday. Thinkking my blood counts may be too low. But do another shot this Friday. Damn, I have never been unable to clean my floors or dust...this is driving me nutty. Where, Oh Where, is my little Martha
