Guest guest
Oh I feel so bad for you...I know the anemia feeling all too well. I needed 3 blood transfusions during treatment, I got 2. I did pro-crit shots for months. I hated them. That drained out feeling really is the worst though. Hang in there and try not to do too much until your blood cells have a chance to regenerate themselves. You do have a way with words... Your description of your energy level was priceless. I had to laugh at that one! Glad you have your sense of humor at least. Give yourself that easy day would you? Just do nothing but veg in front of the tv and let your body heal. I believe her when she said they are low. I haven't been able to do much without feeling like I had run a marathon. When I went to see my doc yesterday, I had to ride a train and take 2 buses to get there. By the time I got back home, I was wore slap out. After eating something, which I really didn't feel like doing, I took my Ribivirin then got ready to give myself that first shot of blood booster. I found that I don't like that at all. The needles for the interferon are small and don't hurt at all, but the harpoons they gave me for the Epoetin are huge and it hurt. This morning when I woke up, I felt like I had been busting rocks all night. All my muscles ache and I got the energy of a 5th year intern at the Hanoi Hilton. I could really use an easy day. The last 4 have been kind of trying. Be well warriors.
