Guest guest
I had chronic sinusitis. It took 6 sinus lavages per day to get rid of most of it over a six-year period. Dried up the rest with Benadryl, which prevents most of the watery eyes and mucus reaction. Guest guest
I'm 61 and had chronic sinusitis most of my life---there were periods I was on antibiotics every other month for years........I am finally free of antibiotics, for over a year now......I lived in New Orleans for 10 yrs. and the worst of it really started there with the dampness and humidity....... The change came when I recognized it was all caused by candida, this was caught about 3 yrs. ago by a nutritionist......In all my life NO REGULAR DOCTOR EVER CAUGHT THE PROBLEM.......they just had my on antibiotics, suggesting I get my nose scraped (which I avoided).....I have never met a ENT which I have faith in........ A smart holistic nutritionist who also did muscle testing figured it out and I am grateful........ I do an anti-candida diet about 95%, take Candex and probiotics regularly--probably could do without them if I had more willpower........(smile)...... For the most part, in well over a year I have had NO sinus problems at all, maybe 2 yrs.---I do find when I indulge in excess sugar (wine), excess wheat I get very stuffy nose and feel like I'm starting with something, but then I just take extra probiotics and clean up diet again and I'm okay........ This is the biggest change in my healthy life, knowing I have candida and cleaning up my habits...... Guest guest
have to say same for me. Used to always have terrible allergies and sinusitis until I started attacking candida. I have not rid myself of the digestive issues and the fatigue, but the allergies went away almost completely and never came back when I started the candida diet. Especially the elimination of dairy and bread did wonders for me. greg > > > > I wonder how many people in this group have chronic sinus problem or had it in the past before candida? > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hello, For my sinusitis I use good old fashioned sea salt. I find it keeps the bacteria away. If you can do it without increasing your blood pressure that is. I take 1-2 '00' sized capsules of sea salt 1-3 times a day. When I stop, the sinusitis comes back and I go right into a sore throat and cold as the bacteria travels down my throat. I also make use of the Neti Pot and ocean saline nasal spray. Guest guest
It sounds that you had candida before sinus probles started. But my nose became a problem many years before infection. It started after flu so docs told me it is from flu and it is just chronic rhinitis.I did not take drugs those time. But I red that flu can cause intolerances not only bacteria so I may got milk intolerance those time not later after candida. If I eat milk I can have stuffed nose. My allergies cleared up after probiotics and liver treatment with herbs but my ENT said I may have allergy anyway. He want me to do triple skin test with increasing amount of allergen to find it. He believe I have reflux and esophagitis from allergy to food. Recently I had test for allergy to Candida Albacan and it was positive. But it is not proof that I have it right now, it could be in the past. There is a Esohopilic Esophagitis which is Allergic esophagitis and it is may be a problem thought my biopcy was negative. Otherwise nobody can explain why I have pain in esophagus because all tests for acid reflux are negative and nobody see candida in endiscopy. > > > > I'm 61 and had chronic sinusitis most of my life---there were periods I > was on antibiotics every other month for years........I am finally free of > antibiotics, for over a year now......I lived in New Orleans for 10 yrs. and > the worst of it really started there with the dampness and humidity....... > The change came when I recognized it was all caused by candida, this was > caught about 3 yrs. ago by a nutritionist......In all my life NO REGULAR > DOCTOR EVER CAUGHT THE PROBLEM.......they just had my on antibiotics, > suggesting I get my nose scraped (which I avoided).....I have never met a ENT which > I have faith in........ > A smart holistic nutritionist who also did muscle testing figured it out > and I am grateful........ > I do an anti-candida diet about 95%, take Candex and probiotics > regularly--probably could do without them if I had more willpower........(smile)...... > For the most part, in well over a year I have had NO sinus problems at > all, maybe 2 yrs.---I do find when I indulge in excess sugar (wine), excess > wheat I get very stuffy nose and feel like I'm starting with something, but > then I just take extra probiotics and clean up diet again and I'm > okay........ > This is the biggest change in my healthy life, knowing I have candida and > cleaning up my habits...... > > > Blessings, Margaret > " We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by > the love we're not extending in the present. Guest guest
I had the " trait " for sinus problems, had sinus problems all my life, had candida all my life---which came first....??? I went to many, many ENT's, MD's who " diagnosed " all the problems you have mentioned, and it never worked out.....yes there are allergies, and that's one cause, but there are many causes in people, I do have reflux tendency---I found what these doctors are doing is " trying " their own theories.....I remember the last time (after spending $$$ and years of tests) I saw a gastro, had every test done known to man at the time, and at the end he couldn't find anything wrong---literally threw up his hands and said I don't know, I'm going to give you something for reflux cause that's the only thing I can think of---that helped, but it didn't get the underlying cause, which has been shown to be candida and a sensitivity to wheat (not full blown allergy, just can't over-do), and a definite allergy to sugar.......... years later, after searching on my own and with alternative md's, I have finally made some progress and it is by treating myself for candida overgrowth and watching what I eat..... I have never met an ENT or GASTRO which helped me long term---they all gave me something that helped " in the moment " , but they never did anything to " cure " the problem...... > > > > > > > > I'm 61 and had chronic sinusitis most of my life---there were periods I > > was on antibiotics every other month for years........I am finally free of > > antibiotics, for over a year now......I lived in New Orleans for 10 yrs. and > > the worst of it really started there with the dampness and humidity....... > > The change came when I recognized it was all caused by candida, this was > > caught about 3 yrs. ago by a nutritionist......In all my life NO REGULAR > > DOCTOR EVER CAUGHT THE PROBLEM.......they just had my on antibiotics, > > suggesting I get my nose scraped (which I avoided).....I have never met a ENT which > > I have faith in........ > > A smart holistic nutritionist who also did muscle testing figured it out > > and I am grateful........ > > I do an anti-candida diet about 95%, take Candex and probiotics > > regularly--probably could do without them if I had more willpower........(smile)...... > > For the most part, in well over a year I have had NO sinus problems at > > all, maybe 2 yrs.---I do find when I indulge in excess sugar (wine), excess > > wheat I get very stuffy nose and feel like I'm starting with something, but > > then I just take extra probiotics and clean up diet again and I'm > > okay........ > > This is the biggest change in my healthy life, knowing I have candida and > > cleaning up my habits...... > > > > > > Blessings, Margaret > > " We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by > > the love we're not extending in the present. Guest guest
I was also having sinus issues (hayfever & sinus headaches) before i discovered i had candida.  Since I've cut the sugar, carbs & any kind meds out of my diet my sinus have been normal again. I'm amazed candida could cause so many health problems for people & animals.  April B
Guest guest
There is a quota from newsletter which may help somebody who still have problems with nose. Outrage! Nose sprays causing SINUS DISEASE! (Rochester, MN) Researchers at the Mayo Clinic confirm it! No less than 100% of sinus patients in their recent study were actually suffering from FUNGUS. In fact, more than 40 types of fungus could be infecting your sinuses. This is a primary cause of chronic sinus trouble and, outrageously, it's being fed by... Steroid nose sprays and antibiotics! That's right, these prescription " cures " for sinus trouble are actually causing it. That's because these drugs suppress the immune cells that ordinarily fight off nasal fungus. The package insert for a bestselling spray even lists fungal overgrowth as a known side effect. Yet mainstream doctors continue to prescribe them, despite overwhelming proof that they're harmful! How to cure it. Famed Natural Physician Dr. Mark Stengler has developed a powerful natural cure for chronic sinus trouble. It eliminates fungus and other causes, too. His patients take a common supplement and use a nose spray containing grapefruit seed extract -- a powerful natural antimicrobial. Sensational results. Pat S. suffered for 10 years before coming to Dr. Mark Stengler. She had taken over 25 courses of antibiotics, prednisone, steroid nasal sprays and other drug treatments, all to no avail. Yet within weeks, his program cleared up her sinuses for good. She's been antibiotic free ever since! Complete details of this breakthrough are now being published in a new FREE Report from Bottom Line, " Pat's Cure " for Chronic SINUS TROUBLE.
