Strange as this sounds, have you ever lain in bed and thought that you are too exhausted to sleep or lay in bed? The alternative is??http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " "A well- behaved woman never made history" http://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx On May 29, 2010, at 9:34 PM, Teri Gottlieb <theresagottlieb@...> wrote:

Gloria,GET BACK ON THE CELEXA. It's not doing any damage and it's the only thing that is going to bring back that sunny disposition. Besides, that's the lowest dosage of it anyways so its not like it's hurting you... you need to take that. What I think you are forgetting is that YOU JUST HAD SURGERY and you are not 25 anymore so recovery takes longer.... quit trying to jump start the healing process would ya? You need to be resting a lot more than I'm sure you have been. Let the docs control the meds... that's what we pay them for. TeriI swear I'm gonna have to stop packing for both you and Trudy! DonTrouble is, for it to really be an experiment you'd have to not take the pain meds eventually. But, I really understand the reasoning.I'm doing something like it with my anti-d's. Slowly reducing them from my routine and see if I can still stay as normal as I ever can be. So far, I've cut out my 20 mg of Celexa and that has bothered me. Then, I'm cutting my 40's in half and maybe try to get into the routine of taking 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night. That's because I'm just about out of my Wellbutrin and simply don't want to get a refill. However, it's like letting go of something but still having a string attached!! All the anti-d's are still prescribed

for me, so if something goes bad, then I can be at my pharmacy in real quick order. I'd just like to get back to my pure sunny disposition, that I distantly remember prior to the Non-Responder diagnosis back in 2005.Gloria

My reason for this experiment is that I am trying to spare my liver undo added stress.

The sugar is not good for my liver, but neither are the pain meds the doctor gives me.

If the sugar causes the pain, rather than taking the pain meds, shouldnt I just quit eating sugar products?

Kinda like - 'kill 2 birds with one stone' - common sence.

As of today, I am cutting most sugar products out of my diet.

WAH....good- by my friend - chocolate cake. :-(

For them to diagnose you you have to have 11 of those 18 pressure points... I have 16 out of 18. The only part the doesn't hurt is my elbows. And those spots are painful to pressure at all times... Good experiment Don..

Maybe I should

switch to Diet Coke again.Teri

Hi everybody

I have been trying an experiment on myself for the last few days.

I have been eating more sugar products, and measuring my Fibromyalgia pain levels the following day.

I just wanted to know if the two were related in me.

Results:

I definately experiance more Fibromyalgia pain when I eat sugar products the day after.

There are 18 major points on the body that Pain-docs check for pain.

[in me there are about a million.]

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/medical/IM02372

Anyways, not only did I experiance more pain in the points in the picture above from eating sugar products, but I experianced more pain overall. [Muscles, joints, headaches, feet, hands, back, etc.]

- My neck is really sore, like someone karate chopped me, which fits with the above pictures pain points.

- The base of my skull is on fire.

- My elbows and knees hurt like hell.

- Even my hair seems to hurt, or the aliens are overloading me with messages. LMAO :-)

I cannot blame this pain on the weather. It has been sunny and warm here in Kansas for a week. No rain.

Not only have I had more pain, but I have experianced some other issues too.

- Constipation

- Brain fog

- Kidney pain

- Stomach bloating

- General weakness

- Depression

*** These things may or may not be caused by the increase in sugar, or may be related to HCV, or some other cause.

There are also articles warning about sweeteners and HCV.
