Guest guest
One symptom of dehydration that I finally realized was so true - was my headaches. This is both on or off treatment. The only time that water is not going to make it go away, is when there is a great low-pressure system, such as what we had today.Gloria Hi ,My name is Sheila, I am 49 years old and found out in surgery I had in 1993 that I had Hep C. I have been on medicine twice now with no positive results of getting rid of the virus out of my system. The count went down the second time under 10 but it came right back when I went off the medicine. Everyone in this club have been on it or is about to and there is a lot of knowledge here (not that all correct, lol)...but. it does affect all of us differently. When you see notes about drinking water, water, water,,dehydration is a big issue. I honestly think it is part of the Hep C virus, not necessarily just the TX (which my dehydration was a lot worse while I was on medicine. I still have to drink a lot in a day for I can tell when dehydration is hitting my body. And as mentioned..alcohol is the worst thing you can do to your liver,,many of us here have quit drinking and caffeine is another no no (whether it be soda, coffee, etc). As mentioned, we are always here for you and never ever feel a question is too stupid...honestly, ,,,there is never a stupid question (only the person who thinks it is stupid...IS STUPID)Love,SheilaFrom: Christ <ludichrist2000>WebWarriors grp < >Sent: Fri, April 2, 2010 12:40:56 AMSubject: [ ] Welcome New Member - Hi Welcome. You have come to the right place. This group is made up of wonderful folks. We can and will help you with information and support. I found out I had HCV in 2008, and I about lost my head. I was 57. I didnt know where my liver was, what it did, and I had never heard of Hepatitis C. Fear and shock is our first responce. This is normal. I have questions for you if you dont mind sharing. - What is your genotype? [1A, 1B, 2, 3, etc] - What were your lab results? - Can you tell us about some of the circumstances of you being diagnosed? - What did your doctor tell you about Hep C? Hepatitis C developes slowly under most circumstances, over years and decades. You may not be as bad off as you might think. Many people clear HCV on their own. Others need treatment, or manage to live with the virus without treatment. And yes, there is the possibility of clearing the virus, and living a normal long life. Some suggestions: If you drink alcohol or use street drugs, stop now. You can possibly slow down the progression of HCV by making some lifestyle changes like diet, exercise, rest, possibly even some suppliments to aid your health. Click on this link, and browse. It is the Links Library, and is set up to take one from 'Just Diagnosed' to most of your questions about HCV. http://health. dir.groups. / group/HepCWebWar riors/links <--- click here Just click and read. , no question is stupid or worthless. Please ask anything you want, and we will try to answer. Each person's body is different, and so is everyones needs. You are not alone. We are right beside you all the way. love don in ks Looking for the perfect gift? Give the gift of Flickr!
