Guest guest
Wow...I'd love to hear more about your story: where the surgery took place, who did it, what it was like for you, etc. I am considering revision surgery with my Harrington rod, and have collected primarily frightening and scary stories from others, so it would be extremely valuable to hear more about yours. Thanks for sharing this! I am 51, 9 months postop from Flatback Surgery. I feel AMAZING! After years of pain and walking like an 80 year old, I am back to my old self. I too am not upset that I had the Harrington Rod as a teen... It gave me 30 great years. I would not want to trade places with those that never had scoliosis surgery as a teen and now their bodies are deformed and they are in pain. I am totally excited about my future!
