Guest guest
-KAREN, I hope you are feeling better! I was wondering if you could tell me what a microdiscetomy is and what you had that determined this surgery was needed? I suffer from lower back pain and sciatica, have had it increasing for about 8 years and had a recent flare about 3 months ago where I couldnt bare weight on that leg for weeks - wheelchair, then walker etc. still having more pain than usual but off the narcotics but I am stumped because ALL my tests show up normal- mri (3) XRAYS, bone scan (2), ct scan, emg (2), ssep, etc.... thanks,JP -- In spinal problems , " oceanblue07929 " <oceanblue@...> wrote: > > Hi > I had an emergency L5/S1 microdiscectomy on November 30th due to severe > nerve pain and incapacity. Guest guest
Hi , I had a disectomy/laminectomy a couple of years ago due to extreme sciatic pain. I was fine until recently and started having back pain which started at night and now is almost constant. Have you spoken with your doc about this? I would definitely stay on it. I have found some relief through chiropractic but only on the traction table. Good luck and I hope you find an answer!
