Patches will be given at end of ride. Ride Route Furnished at Registration. Hepatitis C is known as the Silent Killer. There are at least 5 million people in the United States with Hepatitis C, however, only 1 million have been diagnosed. H.E.A.L.S of North GA holds a support group meeting each month for liver patients and their families. Limited funds are available for Hepatitis Support, Awareness and Education, so through H.E.A.L.S we try to reach out to the general public for charity $$ in order to hold free Hepatitis C screenings and testings and provide educational materials to the public at health fairs and other events. You should be tested for Hepatitis C if you: * received blood, blood products, or an organ transplant prior to 1992 *ever shared drug paraphernalia *ever been stuck by a used needle *been on kidney dialysis *had sexual activity that involves contact with blood *shared personal care items (razors, toothbrushes, etc.) with other people *ever been incarcerated *are a veteran For more information, contact: *had a tattoo or body piercing ieLynn 770-720-8258 bluemountaindreams@...
