Hi ! I'm not Bee but I wanted to welcome you to the group and say this: why be embarrassed? You are the cool one! Last night I was hungry. Instead of having chocolate, I fried some pork fat and chicken livers and ate that with some butter. It was delicious! (I'm getting used to the pork fat!) I was like " Feed on this you nasty candida cells! I'll show you who's the boss! " My only regret? Nobody was there to see me! Oh, what I'd give to freak out people with my diet: The more fat I eat, the leaner and stronger I'm getting! ;-) I'm melting like butter in the sun! I'd like to encourage you to change your attitude, if I may... How about you're really cool coz you don't eat that junk (you know best!) and you're so cool you don't even need a posse to support you: you do whatever wants to do! When I go back to the real world, I'm gonna get my kicks out of eating in front of others: butter, pork fat, Coconut Oil with more butter, lard, butter, bacon and...butter, butter, butter!!! I can't wait to hear them say " It's unfair! How can she look this good!? Where does she put it?! " If they only knew... ^ - ^ Chris.

I > am going on holidays for 3 weeks (which will be hard to be on the > diet) therefore I will start when I get back home. I have suffered with Candida for many, many years and I feel my problem all began when I turned 18, started drinking lots of alcohol (unfortunately abusing alcohol at that age is Australian culture) and started taking the pill. Eight years on and I have acne, eczema, tinea versicolor, IBS, fatigue, hypogylcemia, PMS and also have been having 2 seizures a year for 3 years now, the strange thing is, I have one in January and one in June and its always in my sleep. Doctors tried to give me epilepsy medication, but I refused but no one seems to know why this happens. ==>My, , you have really been through the mill health-wise haven't you, and they are all related to candida, and to a depressed immune system. > I feel like I have finally found something that I can concentrate on, and feel very confident that with persistance and hard work, it will pay off and I can be rid of this Candida forever! I just had to write to say thanks for setting up this site, I have had trouble with doctors for years, saying there is nothing wrong or trying to give me drugs I don't need! My friends and family also think I am a bit nuts, and it can get embarrassing at functions when I try to stay away from certain foods and alcohol, it can be hard. The funny thing is, lots of my friends have sypmtoms too, but would never do anything about it! I will start my diet on the 28th January 2007. I look forward to checking in with you from time to time. ==>You sound very determined to get your health back, and you definitely will if you follow my program faithfully like many others have. It's good to hear from you. The most important enzyme needed for digestion is Betaine hydrochloric acid (HCl) and it is much cheaper than the " gold " (LOL!) you are taking. If there is enough HCl mixed in the foods from your stomach it stimulates production of digestive enzymes in the small intestines. The main digestive enzymes produced by the pancreas and dumped into the entry to the small intestine, called the duodenum, are: protease for proteins, amylase for carbs and lipases for fats. If you are eating high fats like coconut oil and butter they do not require digestive enzymes (lipases & bile) like other fats do. Also protein and good fats in the food from the stomach stimulates the gall bladder to dump its bile into the duodenum, which is needed for digestion. So you can get by with just HCl tablets and other natural foods that stimulate the production of HCl in the stomach, i.e. lemons, ocean sea salt, and these suggestions: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php#s32 Natural Factors and NOW Foods have good HCl tablets. Are you eating enough veggies? If not, you may be low on potassium, in which case you should cut back on the amount of sea salt. I wrote a message about this yesterday - check it out - search with potassium. Also see the Water Retention article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/water3.php Luv, Bee

I would not recommend using that product. That state it is not actually a mineral supplement, and it appears to be a bleach. Your body does not require this product. There are so many good antifungals to use instead, i.e. coconut oil, garlic, clove, or oregano. Besides the diet and supplements are much more important than any antifungal agents of any kind because only they will build up your immune system.
