Guest guest
I notice you take things to the extreme, I will remember that for the next discussion. As for Dane....I am not sure I disagree with her being a quack, I don't think too highly of her myself. I didn't know anything about celebs because I don't even read her website, nor do I visit it. I only found out about her because of my concern with my eco thryo when I got pregnant. The best the company (PHP) could do for me was suggest a doctor who also sold the product to give me some guidance. That is how I found her and that is how I found the rev it up, which by the way, has really shown to be very effective along with the eco thyro. I believe there are many amazing western doctors as well as many amazing herboligist and acupuncturist. I don't discriminate on either side, I was just pointing something out to you. Have a Healthy Day. By the way Chuck, what meds do you take? Chuck B <gumboyaya@...> wrote: , You wrote: > > What does that sentence even mean? ... Well, the part about taking iodine refers to the parallel discussion I've been having with Gracia, who through similar logic, based on unreviewed papers in a chiropractic magazine, thinks that taking 25 times the recommended maximum safe daily dose of iodine is a good idea. In short, it means I think Dane is a quack, and that you are foolish to put any stock in her credentials, regardless of how many celebrities she lists as customers. > ... As one who teaches both undergraduate and graduate science courses at such an accredited university, let me give you my blessing. You deserve the very best health care that your favorite acupuncturist can provide you. BTW, have the acupuncturists or herbalists in your area built any hospitals lately? I have often joined in this list's penchant for criticizing bad decisions by doctors. However, there are bad apples in every profession, and even the good ones sometimes make a mistake. Just because an occasional bridge collapses or roof fails, doesn't mean we should close down all our engineering schools and turn over construction design to people who specialize in folklore, superstition, or UFO technology. I have met some engineers who claimed expertise in all four areas, but I'm not sure I would hire them to build anything important to me. Guest guest
Come on Chuck - be fair - acupuncture has been studied in China at university level and beyond for thousands of years. And who are our hospitals filled with? - patients with diabetes, kidney failure, heart conditions - all failures of our current health system poor diet and drug overuse. Give me a good surgeon any day - IMO the crowning glory of western medicine is surgery - but for the rest of medicine we have gone backwards. Why are there so many people on these boards if doctors are so competent? K Hiring engineers , You wrote: > > What does that sentence even mean? ...
