Guest guest
> > Hi, I have noticed that most nutritional yeasts have added some B's such as folic acid, B-12, and true " niacin " . Since we should take niacin in addition to plain nutritional yeast, would the type that has niacin added be OK? The packages assure no candida, wheat, dairy, > soy. But this is the regular stuff sold in Bins or paper canisters at the health food store. Plus you can also buy imported unfortified > nutritional yeast. ==>I think unfortified nutritional yeast is better, but the fortified one won't hurt you. However " if " they do not state how much of each type of B vitamin is added you cannot know whether the product is still going to balanced. The unfortified product is naturally balanced, but you'd take niacin in addition. > I am still using B-vitamins for now but I tried some of the > unfortified yeast from the store for two days, taken in the morning. I LOVE the taste in salty broth, reminiscient of smoked > cheese/parmesan. Not sure if it's a coincidence but I had more severe cravings (or general " hunger " ) both days and more anxiety. But that could just be because we are leaving in a few days to visit my mom and I'm already setting aside supplements and coconut oil containers and giving her a shopping list (she's a great Weston Price eater anyway so it won't be too hard). ==>More than likely your anxiety is because you are going to visit your mom. Were you sure to eat enough meats, eggs and fats too? ==>I hope you have a wonderful time with your mom! Luv, Bee
Guest guest
> > ==>More than likely your anxiety is because you are going to visit > your mom. Were you sure to eat enough meats, eggs and fats too? Yes, Bee, I seem to have a history of nerves before big trips. Also as far as eating enough that is usually not a problem for me :-) and I have been using Fitday. My protein is 78g by the Optimal ratios and that is very easy for me to reach with 2-3 eggs in a drink, some meat at dinner, and plenty of green veg (the nutritional yeast even would compete for some of this protein). I have to make sure to keep the protein from going too high. My thing is that I hope to lose just maybe 5-8 more lbs after losing about 6 so far. If my fat range is 195-273 there is no way I burn that many calories just doing house/toddler " work " and a 30 minute walk each day! I make sure to get 5-6 T coconut and eat all of the fat in my ground beef, etc but fat doesn't get above 120 for me most days because I want to trim down. This still puts my fat around 70% of my diet which is above the 60% minimum you wrote somewhere. Is this alright? However maybe when I am anxious I should simply add more fat and know that I'm just not going to lose any weight. After all, butter is what I seem to want to grab for anyway! > ==>I hope you have a wonderful time with your mom! Thank you! I am sure we will as her grandson is just starting to walk and he will love chasing her cats and all the fun we will have in San Diego! +Corinne
Guest guest
Hi group, Just a little note to all of us who diagnosis ourselves...be careful...I have been diagnosing myself with my heavy cycles and contributing it to toxins or healing, and maybe it is but i had a d & c done today and according to my gyno i need to have a hystorectomy asap as my uterus is damaged from what he doesnt know but it does not serve me any prupose anymore and will only cause me a nightmare in the future so he wants it out. I have been doing antifungals over the past year on and off and everytime i used antifungals i began to bleed and clot heavily. the most recent was in august when i upped my coconut oil and began to bleed right away and it never went away. I did all of the recommended treatments in the files and was hopeful that this was all healing and toxins, but to my surprise today it wasnt. just be careful when you try to diagnosis yourself. The medical profession is there for a purpose and we should have faith in that. I beleive in this diet and supplements and treatments. I am just saying be careful when something goes on for a long period of time as it may be something more and maybe needs to be checked out. Dont avoid what your gut tells you. usually you are right!--* Thanks... Sue ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Cheap talk? That isn't how it works. Your body easily throws off excess fats when they are nature-made. Your body doesn't make body fat from these good fats, which is what is wonderful about this diet. > I make sure to get 5-6 T coconut and eat all of the fat in my round beef, etc but fat doesn't get above 120 for me most days because I want to trim down. This still puts my fat around 70% of my diet which is above the 60% minimum you wrote somewhere. Is this alright? However maybe when I am anxious I should simply add more fat and know that I'm just not going to lose any weight. After all, butter is what I seem to want to grab for anyway! ==>To lose weight you are right to keep proteins down because 58% of it does turn into carbs in the body. You could lower your carbs to about .5 times the protein. For further information about fats see the article " How to Take the Fear Out of Eating Fats " in the Candida Diet Folder (inside the Fat Facts Folder). > > > ==>I hope you have a wonderful time with your mom! > > Thank you! If you stick to this program your uterus will re-build its cells properly, with good nature-made oils and fats. Don't forget they have quotas to meet on how many uteruses they need to have remove. You are at the age when menopause starts and your symptoms aren't as bad as the ones I went through when I started menopause, even after curing my candida. Guest guest
> > ==>Sue, if nothing else do get a second opinion > before you succumb to > such radical surgery. Bee I had a second opinion last night and this dr agrees with my dr. He said i probably have a few more years until i go into menopause and my uterus will continue to bleed and clot regularly until then. I could choose to stay on hormones and give it a try if i want but i am not all that crazy about staying on hormones 3 times a day in addition to possible bleeding daily. He also said ther is another procedure to kinda " cook " the uterus, dont remember the name of the procedure, but there is only a 30% chance that it would work and would require regular hormones also to be taken... Based on all of that i decided to have the surgery and am awaiting the date and time but it will be within the next 2 weeks! 2 questions that maybe you can enlighten me on: 1.what can i do now to prepare for the surgery? i am taking all of the suplements and sticking to the diet now. I am also going to prepart 4 days of food for my husband to heat and bring to me at the hospital. He works for the hospital so will be with me daily! 2. he gave me the option to keep my ovaries or have them taken out also. I am thinking of keeping them and then going to meno naturally. What are your thoughts on this? 3. What can i do after the surgery to promote my healing? Thanks for your opinion in advance, I do value what you think. Thanks... Guest guest
just be careful when you try to diagnosis yourself. I am just saying be careful when something goes on for a long period of time as it may be something more and maybe needs to be checked out. Dont avoid what your gut tells you. usually you are right!--* Thanks... Sue Sue, My heart goes out to you at this time. I know for myself that I would seek all that I could do naturally as you have done. We all need to go where our faith lies and do our due diligence to make sure that faith is well placed. Once when I struggled praying for a dire need that seemed to be unanswered I asked a friend what to do telling her I prayed and the need so far was unmet. She told me that she prays then does " that what she knows to do " . I followed that advise and the answer to my desperate need was met much to my amazement. Her advise was revelation to me and I believe wisdom. Fight the good fight and let peace be your guide. In this year not only have you built yourself up but you have learned much that will serve you well. Not only that you have people around the whole world praying for you. God bless you and your family Shalom Pat Brogan
