Hi Again everyone,

Firstly thanks for your replies to my last post about coffee.

I have a few more queries.

1) Is there a limit to the number of eggs a person can eat in a day or

week and be healthy?

2)Can you eat too little carb? I am having trouble knowing just how

much veg to eat, as in how much of my plate. I want to be eating under

or around 30 grams to aid weight loss. I think because I am unsure of

the true amount of carb in low carb veg I am possibly eating too little

veg? Is this a problem?

3) I am a person who puts on weight if I dont eat enough, I am worried

that by limiting my protein and carb i will send my body into

starvation mode. Any tips for ensuring I get enough energy from these

foods and fat?

I am looking forward to healing...from the changes I have already made

I am sure I am experiencing die off. I am on the path to healing.

Thank you all for your time and support

Lelita

==>You are welcome.

==>The minimum number is 4 per day and the maximum is unlimited.

There's a story about a man who ate 24 eggs per day and who was quite

healthy; doctors were amazed that even his cholesterol was low - I

think it is in the Candida Diet Folder.

==>You cannot eat too little carbs; I went on an all meat and fats

diet for 3 weeks about 2 years ago and I great on it. In fact even

now I eat very little veggies. But they are a cheaper way to get

carbs than getting them from meats, eggs or fats (58% of protein and

10% of fats turn into glucose in the body). In 1935 Vilhjalmur

Stefansson, an anthropolgist, and a friend, did a 1 year experiment

eating only meats and fats (I think his ratios were 25% meat to 75%

fat) under doctor's supervision in a hospital and he and his friend

were perfectly healthy on it. In fact his friend's health improved

and he lost weight, etc. This is his 3 part story:

==>The key is to keep the meats and fats in the correct ratios,

because too much meat will cause you to be sick like Stefansson

describes in his story.

==>You won't starve your body by eating meats, eggs and good nature-

made fats if you keep the ratios correct. The very easiest foods for

the body to digest are meats, eggs and good fats compared to carbs -

they require the least amount of energy by the body, and they require

the least amount of enzymes, etc. Good fats are the very best energy

source for the body as well, instead of carbs. Slowly your body will

switch over to using proteins and fats as energy rather than running

off of carbs, which is very positive and more healthy.

==>That's good you are experiencing die-off; you are doing it right!

It's onward and upward my friend.

I eat a very large amount per day, but I only choose the ones that are highest

in nutrition and fiber. There is a big difference if I eat 5 cups of broccoli

(high fiber/nutrition) and 5 cups of red bell peppers (more carbs).

====> Yes, you want to make sure you eat enough calories to prevent starvation

mode, but not too many. I have sent you privately the calories I suggest. My

suggestions for weight loss are slightly different than the standard advice

because larger bodies burn more calories.

As long as the ratios are correct, and you are choosing specific foods from

the ones available on this diet and being careful with others that aren't as

good for weight loss (butter, olive oil, stevia, large amounts of onions or

peppers) then it should not prevent you from losing weight and healing your

candida at the same time. Some veggies are really good for weight loss and

candida (garlic, broccoli, cabbage, asparagus).
