understand once you read that article. Protein and good fats like

butter, coconut oil, lard and other natural animal fats are the very

easiest foods for the body to digest compared to any carbs.

==>It is not wise to drink " too much " water without ensuring you are

also getting salt (sodium and chloride) and minerals which is

obtained from a good ocean sea salt recommended in my article. You

take it in water with lemon.

==>Protein does not increase halitosis. There is a lot of false

information about protein out there - don't believe it. Protein only

turns acid in a laboratory, not in the body, and it does not putrefy

in the gut but it must be eaten with lots of good nature-made fats

like butter, lard, coconut oil, etc. - read my article and you'll

understand.

==>That is because candida mostly grows in the intestines,

interfering with digestion, and when you have candida you do not have

good friendly bacteria, etc. Most halitosis is caused by these

problem in the colon which affects the lungs, liver, etc. So you are

breathing out the putrefaction from your intestines. You cannot get

rid of bad breath until you do the candida program. Also a lot of

digestive problems are helped by eating enough good meats, eggs and

good fats, and low carbs. Carbs are very hard for the body to digest

because they contain fibres that the body cannot break down, which is

very unhealthy for the intestines. See my article for a complete

description of carbs that are okay.

==>In the meantime chew on whole cloves or fennel seeds to make your

breath more pleasant until you can cure your candida.

Hello Jade13star i also have the same problem my breath is like feces

or rotten meat. I do understand the advice Ms Bee gives but i don't

know about you but i have a job tough smell horrible with co-workers

comment i what make it really bad i work in healthcare cry myself to

sleep, i've alot taught about sucide may times i'm so unhappy and

stagnant in my life. Hoping things get better us

Hi, I'm new, but I have been lurking around, reading, following post

etc. My name is . I've had candida for several years (>

10years!) but about two weeks ago I was correctly diagnosed. I had

been taking medication for acid reflux for two years without any

improvement to my health. I've been researching lots of articles on

the internet, I've purchased " The Yeast Connection Handbook " , I've

read your materials so I have a pretty good grasp of what needs to

be done. I've always known I had a dairy intolerance but gluten and

sugar???? I love fruit but I've given it up to get better. Wheat

products on the other hand, primarily sweet stuff not bread or

crackers, cookies, cakes, pastries, those are my weaknesses until

now, I've given those up too because I need to feel better. I've

never indulged in bread or rice, except the occasional bowl of brown

rice. I was a sugar-holic, now I know that is a candida craving. I

am very familiar with eating low carb diets and don't mind it at all

except that this time it's a bit more restrictive - no nuts or

grains (not even 1/4 cup of brown rice???)

I've had many of the symptoms that most women experience but my

biggest concern is halitosis. Should I try to get a prescription

for Nystatin? Since I've started eating ultra-low carb, I do feel

better and I've already noticed that some of the symptoms have

disappear or have greatly diminished, which gives me hope. I know

this program takes a long time and I am committed to take care of my

health and make a lifestyle change - sugar, dairy and grain are not

good for you anyway.

Bee, thanks for your response. I have been following the low-carb

tips with the exception of having brazil nuts and almonds. I am a

snacker, in between meeting or while I'm studying I like to munch on

something portable and discrete. Any suggestions for substitutes?

I have increased my intake of sea salt so I think I'm okay with

drinking water.

Anyway you and Jade should hang in there. It's an awful problem to

have halitosis where you smell like feces but it took a long time to

get to this point and it will take some time to cure it. The only

way is to bite the bullet and stick to this program like mad!

Another person was relieved of halitosis after 3 mos., and I hope you

both won't need to take that long. It takes one month of natural

healing for every year you've been unhealthy.

My heart goes out to both of you. Please don't give up hope. This

will fix you up but it is hard work.

==>Start by getting the diet down pat, which will kill off a lot of

candida on its own, particularly because it includes coconut oil

which is antifungal. After you've killed off a lot of candida on the

diet start on natural antifungals I recommend (garlic, oil of oregano

& clove oil). They are all much better than nystatin, and nystatin

products have changed since I took it for my candida - it's hard to

find one that doesn't contain sugars - go figure.

rather than snacking. Your body uses a lot of energy to digest foods

so it needs time between meals. If you must snack see our Recipes

information when there is tons of information to the contrary. Just

remember that 80% of what is written is just to support big industry

and that the other 20% can be wrong 80% of the time too! LOL! This

is a whole new education for you, but believe me our ancestors

weren't concerned about ketones, etc. and they didn't have the

diseases we have today. Besides ketosis is not an unhealthy thing -

Hello,

Have you tried Bee's clove suggestion? I just had a piece, it's not

bad. How long have you had candida and how long have you been on the

Candida diet? Here's my routine, brush teeth with Colgate 12 Hr.,

brush tongue with special tongue gel, scrap tongue with tongue

scraper, gargle with hydorgen peroxide and water solution, drink

clove tea. Drink more water and green tea while at work.

Hang in there.

Hi Sisyphus,

It's good to hear from you. I agree that our health has been

sabotaged - big time! Did you know that when drug companies first

created antibiotics that they were coated with nystatin

because .... " they knew " it caused candida! Duh? When I cured my

candida 1985-87 there was no sugar in nystatin, and now they add

sugar to it?? Another duh?

Also, probiotics were perscribed in millions of units in the mid

1980s, and now they are in billions of units? Almost " all " B complex

contained niacin and now most do not! Crazy!
