Guest guest
Hello Bee, Hope you're having a good week, I hope you don't mind but I've got a few questions as I've read a couple of things this week from other sources and also been increasing my fats, yum yum. 1) Does eating salt with food interfere with protein metabolism? I know it greatly aides digestion but also read that it hinders protein metabolism. 2) Does eating ghee or butter interfere with absorption of nutrients as it coats the organs in mucus and increases mucus in the body? 3) Since I've been increasing my fats up to the recommended amounts (lower end), my stools sometimes float. I've heard this means I'm not digesting fats properly. Does this mean I've just increased them too quickly and I need to reduce again or do I keep to the correct amounts and my body will get used to it? 4) Is Natures Biotics recommended? I've heard it literally eats candida and other pathogens. The ingredients look safe. 5) How do you make the liver tablets without them sticking together once they've been in the freezer!? Is there a clever storage trick I don't know about? 6) I'm having trouble coming off my zinc supplement as my kidneys really hurt if I don't take it and seem to get more tearful and unable to handle stress. When I introduce liquid chlorophyll I imagine I will be in even greater need of zinc as copper and zinc compete. Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense and also sorry it's quite a lot to answer. Have a lovely weekend, Thanks, Amy

I did have a good week. Thank you. > > 1) Does eating salt with food interfere with protein metabolism? I > know it greatly aides digestion but also read that it hinders protein metabolism. ==>Ocean sea salt is different than other salts; in fact it helps our bodies break down protein into amino acids because it provides minerals required for that process. > > 2) Does eating ghee or butter interfere with absorption of nutrients as it coats the organs in mucus and increases mucus in the body? ==>Ghee, butter and other good saturated fats actually help pull nutrients out of all other foods, and they also protect and heal the intestines as well as strengthening them. Sounds like someone is hung up on the mucus issue. LOL! > > 3) Since I've been increasing my fats up to the recommended amounts > (lower end), my stools sometimes float. I've heard it literally eats > candida and other pathogens. The ingredients look safe. ==>This product is complex just like Primal Defense, and it is expensive, and it does not state it is free of dairy, soy, gluten, wheat, etc per my article. I do not recommend complex products for 2 reasons: 1)most candida sufferers do not do well on such products, and 2) these products are costly because they are highly marketed which is totally unnecessary. It is better to get minerals and vitamins separately; a company cannot possibly cram so much into one product; they have to sacrifice some and usually it means the probiotics are less so you have to take more to get the probiotic benefit. You are much better off taking " tried & true " simplier probiotic forms. The best probiotic is cabbage rejuvelac; otherwise get a simple probiotic with 1 billion units per capsule - you take only 10 billion per day. > > 5) How do you make the liver tablets without them sticking together > once they've been in the freezer!? Is there a clever storage trick I don't know about? ==>You lay the pieces out on a tray to freeze them. > > 6) I'm having trouble coming off my zinc supplement as my kidneys > really hurt if I don't take it and seem to get more tearful and > unable to handle stress.
