On the subject of liver flushes, I've had pancreatitis one time and jaundice

just this last weekend along with gallbladder attacks with gastritis (6

altogether). I was very ill at the weekend, vomiting this time for the

first time and bringing up bile in the end. Of course the doctors in the

hospital (general and surgery) poo-poo the idea of liver flushes. But to be

honest, I'm pretty scared to do one as I've had these additional

complications AND I don't want to bring on any further attacks or

complications.

Are there any other ways of dealing with gallstones? Someone on another

list I'm on suggested (perhaps promoted) a product from this site

www.seamineral.com which apparently dissolves stones over time. I need to

hear from someone with good knowledge if there's an alternative to surgery

or flushes.

My surgeon is away for a while so I have at least 8 weeks grace (in which I

need to lose weight anyway if I want them to operate - I'm just under 280

lbs, having already lost 15 since my first hospital visit) in which to deal

with this. I'm due for an MRCP (MRI scan) within that time.

Can you give me any advice?

Alison
