Guest guest
To Beth,, Peggy and the rest of the group. First I want to thank all of you for welcoming me to the group and the support I am getting from you guys. I have read some of the posts from other long time sufferers of this devilish affliction and it breaks my heart as I know what it is to struggle with it day after day. I have been on candex for 7 days. The first three days I felt a little relief, but then the symptoms came back. That seems to be the pattern of all the supplements that I have taken up to now. Of course the SF722( caster been oil) was the only one that I have taken for a whole month. when I stopped, I was taking 15 capsules a day. The die-off (itching all over) if that what if was, was killing me. I order those for modern herbalist out of Cal. I have tried eating raw garlic and that seems to help but my stomach just can handle it. As I have posted, I tried GFSE 125mg too. Tea Tree oil for my burning lips, peppermint oil, and have rinsed and swallow colloidal silver too. I am presently taking vitamins C 1000 mgs, B1 100mgs, stress tabs w/zinc, biotin 1000mcg. I have been taking the bentonite and psylliam and l-gutamine to help the itching. I have not taken the Caproyl yet as suggested by Ken, I believe is his name. I did go see a dentist about 2 months ago and he gave me a mixture of nystatin and a numbing agent. I was to swished it in my mouth and swallow. All it did was numb my mouth temporary. Tuesday, Out of desperation I went to see a doctor Whom a pharmacist recommended who was supposed to have some knowledge of yeast/Candida infections. He tooked blood samples which came back normal. He also put me on depression pills! Now I can't sleep and am awake at 4am every morning. It has help to keep me for being irritable. One Person that I can give credit to for putting up with at this time is my Wife, who is always encouraging me to not give up and to keep seeking help. Again, sorry for the long post and I will try to keep everyone inform of anything that I find helpful in the struggle and I will appreciated the same. Wishing everyone a healthy future, Tony p.s. I as yet to find a doctor who will test me to see if I do have Candida, although I have been tested for just about everything else and I am about broke. --------------------------------- Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Guest guest
Thanks Tony and Berrywell. I am taking a break from GSE, garlic, yeast defense (acylic acid), acidophilus capsules, followed by probiotics, psyllum husks, bentonite (colon cleanse), and all those supplements for now. I am putting them aside to give me body a break. tonight I took a hydrogen peroxide and epsom salt bath followed with coconut oil. I had a nice big glass of Kombucha tea..... yum yum I have a question about that.... 1) After the bath do I rinse off? My scabs fell right off my body! 2) the coconut oil..... can it be the cooking kind? I bought it from the cooking oil section in the Whole Foods store. The other kinds was way too expensive. The consultant said it would work and on the bottle it says I can use it on my body. So any suggestions on this and what others have used. I feel pretty good. The itching has subsided. I have internal itching all over my body. Please don't refer me to internet purchasing....that is not my style. I like to visit a store where I can speak to someone who knows about the product personally. Right now I am doing Biotin (vitamin) and olive oil. I bought Vitamin A and E, calcium, Zinc. I bought some 100% cranberry organic juice from Whole Foods. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and ideas. -Peggy On Thu, 11 May 2006 20:56:12 -0700 (PDT) " Tony R. Guest guest
Hi Peggy, Did the bath hurt or burn ? I am a little afraid to take the hydro/epsom bath. I am in pain now. Very tight skin, very itchy and flaky but also raised up areas that are soft to the touch AFTER the scabby stuff falls off. I also have eczema and can not tell sometimes which is which (eczema vs. candidia). Thanks. Maggie peggypooh1@... wrote: Thanks Tony and Berrywell. Guest guest
Peggy, I usually rinse off after my bath. I think it is a matter of personal preference. The coconut oil is the exact same kind I cook with, I use it on my legs and on the eczema on my arms. I buy most of my products on-line because they are much more competitively priced. Before I did that though it was always at Whole Foods or Trader Joes. Guest guest
Thanks Shirley... After my bath last night my skin is feeling really great. The bath did not sting at all. My scabs fell right off and are healing. I am going to take another one tonight. I did rinse off and the coconut oil is solid and melted right into my skin. , I think the organic coconut oil I got is good. It is Crisco consistencey. It is highly concentrated and seems to be working. You can cook with it or use it on your skin or in your hair. It is by Spectrum and says 100% mechancially (expeller) pressed naturally refined organic coconut oil. Right when I put it on my skin....it melts. I went out to the store and bought more hydrogen peroxide and epsom salts and I got some Masada Dead Sea Salts for the bath as well from Whole Foods. Very resonably priced. The Coconut oil is in a big jar and cost $7.00. I am not doing the psyllum husks or bentonite (detox) for awhile. I am not doing anything because I felt it was causing me to gain weight. Alls I am doing is biotin (300 mg) 3 time daily, and extra virgin olive oil-3 times daily (oleic acid) and to heal my gastrointestinal mucosa I am following up with zinc 30/50 mg, Vit. A 25,000, vita. E 400/800 unit, Calcuim pantothenate 200/1000 mg Daily. I truly believe my yeast, molds or fungus in my body are under control right now. I am afraid the olive oil will make me gain weight. -P On Sat, 13 May 2006 20:30:41 +0000 " Shirley G " <chickwbrains@...> writes: Peggy, I usually rinse off after my bath.
