Hello i am a candida sufferer from New Zealand..

I have candida in my throat and its been there for over 5 years.. when

i first got it it was due to being given overdoses of penicillen.. and

i was miss dignosed for 2 months for depression and anxious disoder..

i found the thrush my self after complaining the whole time that i

couldnt breath properly, that my neck was swollen, that i was dizzy

and had blurred vision.., also, burning on my skin and pain all over

my body..also i lost 22kgs..and the feeling of inflamation systemicly..

when i found the thrush it cover my entire mouth and after seeing an

ear nose and throat doctor he said it was the worst case of thrush he

had ever seen..

i have been tested for all immune issues and im fine..

i was given alot of fluconazole on and off..but it never fully killed

it..it did help me get better.

i started eating again and more..

4 months ago i woke with eratic heart beat and all above symptoms had

returned..i couldnt eat or even get off the counch cronic

fautige..took over..

since this i have been back on fluconazole and have got better..2

months ago i went off the meds and its starting again..

im really feed up with being told only people with hiv have it that

bad..

the doctors say its highly unlikely that i have systemic candida..

im sure they are fools..as i have had it for 5 years and thats

unlikely..

and apart from that im healthy..

no other test show any issues..i have never had a biopsy but with the

camera down my throat many times the thrush has been view so how can

they know how far it has gone,,,grrrrr

im so upset..i take inner health plus and also am on the sugar free

and yeast free diet..i eat 6 cloves raw of garlic a day..

i need help how do i know how to find a doctor who can fix me..

what doctor would specilize with this issue..

A friend's baby had throat thrush and she treated this successfully with

homeopathy. I believe she used chamomilia 6c. She tried many other

medications without any improvement. Homeopathy cleared this up for her

in 3 days.

I've also read that you can clear thrush in your mouth by gargling (and

then swallowing) colloidal silver.

I've not had it before, so I can't say if it works well or not, it was

suggested on a website.

YOW! That is awful! Personally, I wouldn't eat that much Garlic but that's

because I have Irritable bowel and Acid Reflux. Have you tried a No-Gluten

diet? Gluten is found in Wheat, Rye and Barley. I've had to go dairy/gluten

and yeast free for digestive reasons as well as eczema and what I believe to

be systemic candida. I think I have mild mouth thrush also. What kind of

toothpaste/mouthwash are you using? They put a bunch of junk in that stuff

also. I use Biotene and a new one called Therabereath. They both contain

Enzymes and aren't harsh like Listerine.

I looked up that Inner Health Plus and I noticed it didn't mention if it was

yeast/gluten/dairy free. Also, the delivery system is as important as the

amount of cultures. Unless they have a guaranteed delivery system to your

intestines I wouldn't purchase it. I usually take my probiotics a half hour

before a meal. When do you take yours?

Personally, I have had luck when staying away from the following foods: All

fruit except a banana once in awhile (I have digestion issues as well), no

coffee or carbonated beverages, low sugar, all corn products (which is found

in a lot of foods as well in drinks as high fructose corn syrup...however, I

do drink Iced Green Tea with that in it sometimes),

wheat/barley/rye/gluten/yeast/Any type of bread, Rice Milk because it

contains a small amount of gluten and chocolate which is one of my

addictions and I have been mostly staying away from it. I'm not going to say

it's easy because it's not.

Also, make sure you have dental cleanings every six months. I have to get my

wisdom teeth pulled as well as the metal filling replaced with non-metal

ones. Yikes!

Have you tried Oil-Pulling? I've heard about it on the internet but have not

tried it yet. It involves putting oil in your mouth and pushing it back and

forth thru your teeth.

I was thinking of trying it because on some of my teeth my gums have receded

and there is staining.

Also, I was thinking maybe you have an allergy to something? Gluten? Soy?

Eggs? Dairy?

What I had to do is basically stop eating a specific food for 2 weeks at a

time and see what happens.

I'm not a doctor but these are the things that came to mind. I wish you the
