Guest guest
Peggy, According to " Hering's Law of Cures " the body seeks to externalize toxins through the skin. Because it is your largest organ it is therefore the most expeditious way to rid the body of toxins AND also protect vital organs at the same time. When you kill the candida or release the toxins through diet the mass exodus of toxins through your skin is what is causing your itching and at the same time protecting your organs from having to filter these toxins out. I highly recommend taking a bath with 2 cups of hydrogen peroxide and one cup of epsom salt. Also you should use coconut oil on your skin after every shower or bath, it will aleviate the itching and leave your skin soft. Guest guest
Shirley my itching started before the candida diet. I did not know about candida until 3 months of itching. The doctor called it internal Itching and menopause is part of it as well. I may be allergic to something, but I went to the allergy doc and did lots of tests. All negative. It is not my detergent, soap. I already went through all that. I finally spoke to a female OBGyN doc on Wed. and she said it may be the iodine the nurse used on my in my vagina when she did the EMB. I may be allergic to that. The doctor requested my records from Kaiser to see how the procedure was done. We will go from there. I have been eating Craig food for over 2 years. I lost 45 lbs. While working at See's I found I ate to much candy and part of menopause, the EMB the sugar in the candy was feeding the yeast until it over grew. Now I am doing lots of remedies from Whole Foods including a Colon cleanse..... I " feel " good but still itching. That has not changed very much. I have never been allergic to anything in my life. I have had vaginal and rectal itching which I thought was mostly common in most women anyway. It has mostly been hard to get rid of the itching down there. But now I am itching all over my body inside my flesh. Deep itching that has caused sores on my legs and feet when I scratch to much. I put amlacin on it to keep it from getting infected. Basically I am getting used to the idea that I will be itching for awhile so I accept it and go on with my life. I am grateful I do not have cancer or some incurable disease. That I thank God for. Guest guest
I can't remember if you said if you had done this: Have you tried a Masada Dead Sea Salt Bath? They have a fragrance free which helped my itching from heat/allergic rash on my leg. I just used it as a hot compress but I think this would be great for you to use in your bath. It draws out toxins. I hope you feel better soon! Alison, Chicago _____ From: candidiasis [mailto:candidiasis ] On Behalf Of peggypooh1@... Guest guest
Peggy, Have you tried the coconut oil at all? I had the same problems as you, I itched my legs raw and bloody and still have the scars to prove it, and I had rectal itching as well. Then I tried the hydogen peroxide/epsom salt baths and that really, really helped. Then after I bathed I put coconut oil all over my legs and " other " itchy areas and it did the trick. Guest guest
I will definitely try it. But I have to go to Whole Foods to find the coconut oil. I have been using Borage Dry Skin Treatment lotion and it has helped me considerably. thanks, -P On Sun, 07 May 2006 20:01:34 +0000 " Shirley G " <chickwbrains@...> writes: Peggy, Have you tried the coconut oil at all? Guest guest
Shirley does it have to be coconut oil? Are there other suggestions i.e. olive oil, tree tree oil??? Something I already have. I am tired to spending all my money on new stuff. But I am definitely going to try the bath..... thanks for your input, -P On Sat, 06 May 2006 19:41:55 +0000 " Shirley G " <chickwbrains@...> writes: Peggy, According to " Hering's Law of Cures " the body seeks to externalize toxins through the skin. Guest guest
Shirley I was doing the Aveeno oatmeal bath treatment every night for awhile. With 2 tbspns. of olive oil as directed by my allegy doctor. I did not rub dry, but pat-dry. It did not really do much good, but I know it helped somehow. I was right in the middle of the severe itching stage. This morning I am barely itching at all. I am on my 5th day of colon cleanse. I am taking Bentonite and Psyllum capsules. Drinking lots of water. My bowel movements have not really changed as I await a big explosion that does not seem to be emerging. -P On Sun, 07 May 2006 20:01:34 +0000 " Shirley G " <chickwbrains@...> writes: Peggy, Have you tried the coconut oil at all? Guest guest
Peggy, I have also used oil of oregano but that can get rather expensive, I buy the coconut oil by the gallon so therefore it is cost effective. Hands down I would recommend that over anything else because it is not only an anti-fungal treatment but also anti-bacterial and I know for sure that it works. You would also benefit from taking coconut oil internally as well. Guest guest
Hi, The tops of my thighs are on fire, again :-) I am on an antibiotic for infection due to scratching like a madwoman. They (and me) are healing but they are red and I am scared that this is starting all over again. Should I do one of the following ? (I do have Eczema as well.) Hydrogen peroxide/epsom salt bath and coconut oil afterwards. Coconut oil only. Some kind of compress directly on the thighs. Nothing Is the burning the die-off process even though I am on an antibiotic ? Thanks. Guest guest
You should try a hot compress made with water and Masada Unscented Dead Sea Salts. They are a little expensive but you don’t need a lot of them. (Unless you take a bath in them I suppose). I had thrush and itching on the inside of my legs which was SOOOOO itchy. I used a hotwater/dead sea salt compress and the itching went away. I couldn’t believe the results! I’ve actually been to the Dead Sea in Israel. I went in 1999 and floated in the water for awhile. After that my eczema went away for a year and a half!
