Not a problem! Just let me know if there is another category you'd rather I

gathering

I was iffy on the gathering because I need to have carpal tunnel

surgery done and I found out today that I have one hand done on July

9 so I guess I have to bow out. I will read reports on the list

afterward. I will miss you guys!

Hi Peggy,

I'm so sorry you won't be able to join us. Good luck with your carpal

tunnel surgery. My mom has had it done on both hands and while it takes

time to recover, she's seen some improvement. We'll miss you too!!

I will get the swap info to you in a little while. What did you lose

about the gathering? It's July 10.

I think I just need to know the time of arrival and what time it's over.

Oh, besides food, should I bring anything?

Thanks, Colleen! I printed this one out, as well as saving it to a folder,

I believe we're starting at 10am again this year. It usually doesn't

last past 5pm or so.

If you're going to watch the demos, you may want to bring paper & pen

to take notes. Bring biz cards to exchange with others. Bring a

camera if you want to take pics, but be prepared cause there are a few

camera shy folks in the group! I'm pretty sure we're doing the Yankee

Swap again this year ( H1 will explain this event). Those in the

Gathering Swap will need to bring their items. Hmmmm, I can't think

of anything else.

nne- Do folks need to bring chairs?

And I thought I was ahead of the game! I sent out the Yankee Swap info on

the 7th. Apparently I sent it to MYSELF, not the list! :)

LOL, ! Are you keeping track of who is playing this year, or are

you just having folks bring their box to the gathering? If you're

keeping track, count me in! I've already got my box together. :)

Colleen,

I decided not to keep track because it's the kind of thing you can decide to

join at the last minute and it won't make a difference. But it's more fun

with a lot of people to trade with! :)

Congrats on the birth of your son!!! Is this your first? LOL, I

think all men act like they did all the work! While I stayed home &

slept from pure exhaustion after my son was born, my dh took the boy

everywhere to show him off!! He was sooo proud of what " he'd " made! :)

Have fun with him!

Gathering

Hello, everyone!

Well, I didn't sign up for any food dish. Is there something needed?

I've got a long drive but I can contribute for the meat platter or bring

drinks - ? Please let me know what would be good? Sure looking forward to

all the activities. Also, if I need to bring my 16 year old daughter, would

it be okay? She isn't a child, but I know we voted on no kids, so let me

know please. Sorry this is so last minute, story of my life....LOL

a,

I have not gotten the plastic flatware yet. Would you be willing to bring that?

We need for 30-40 people. (unless, of course, the organizers have another need!)

BTW... I was able to get the name tags,, and I've gotten the plates... am

bringing two coffee pots.... I think that was all, including the flatware, I was

assignment/offered to bring!

OK, I really hate to do this last minute but i'm not going to be able to

come to the gathering. I'm so sad because I was in the swap & everything.

I apologize profusely for doing this so last minute.

My very best friend from Ohio is coming to visit w/ her 3 kids. I was

hoping she'd be able to watch my little ones but it's apparent that my son

won't be watched by anyone but me or my dh (not even grandma will do right

now). It must be the age. And since I haven't seen my friend in over 2

years, Henry hasn't even met her!

I really cant think of a solution. Oh, and I'm supposed to bring drinks so

a, if you haven't come up w/ something to bring, maybe you could take

that over?

I hope this is all ok w/ everyone. I'm very disappointed. I hope everyone
