Guest guest
Hi All! I have NHL, and I have heard that there has been a lot of success with using Tonalin CLA. Is there any info out there that is reputable ie not some company trying to sell some new product that doesn't really do anything that anyone can send to me on this? Any info would be most appreciated!!!! Thank you! Peace and Healing to All ~ Noel
Guest guest
Hi I've also got NHL. I take Life Extension Force's CLA. So far it isn't doing any harm, but no miracles. Guest guest
I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried Tonalin CLA. My sister is trying to lose weight and asked me about it. I found good information at http://thyroid.about.com/library/weekly/aa012601a.htm?terms=cla and even better information at http://thyroid.about.com/library/weekly/aa011101a.htm . I have passed those references on to my sister and now I am also considering trying it myself. I'd really like to hear someone's personal experience with it, though. Much aloha, Celeste
Guest guest
Okay, I took it religiously for about 3 weeks. I did notice a change in my shorts. Unfortunately, that's all changed! That stuff is pretty expensive but I think it does work, especially in the abdomen area. > I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried Tonalin CLA. Guest guest
I have not taken it any length of time to tell you, but I know I feel better when I take it. That doesn't help much , I know. I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried Tonalin CLA.
Guest guest
I have a question for those of you who use Tonalin CLA. Do y'all take the recommended 1 softgell per meal??? Or do you find that to be too much or too little? Also, have you seen any results using it? I'm 5'2 134lbs Thanks! Re: RECIPES: Cooking Fish (from South Beach Diet) n, Thanks for posting that. So many people are lost when it comes to fish if they cannot panfry it (or maybe that's just down here in Texas, back home in the north east we knew what to do with fish.) One of my favorite ways to make fish is to bake it in a paper bag. Take a lunch size paper bag, spray inside with PAM. Place on a cookie sheet, so that it is laying on it's side. Place fish into bag, along with minced onion, bell peppers, tomatos, salt, pepper, maybe some lemmon juice. Close up the bag. Bake in a 350 oven for about 20 minutes (this really depends on the thickness of your fish). When you cut open the bag there will be a puff of steam, so watch out. The aroma when you open it is wonderful, the fish is moist and full of flavor. According to our doctor, CLA is naturally occurring in meat & dairy, but the levels have been drasticaly reduced due modern production methods - in particular commercial feeds vs. what the animals would eat naturally. We both take 4/day and she credits busting a LONG plateau to the CLA. She is over 50, and is the trimmest she's been in 15 years. While my results haven't been as dramatic, I wasn't really trying to lose weight either. But I believe it helps. It's been written time & again, that food is most of this, exercise next, and supplements a small piece of the picture. But I do believe that smart supplementation can help your body work more efficiently. Neca
Guest guest
I used the liquid form and I noticed ZILCH. Maybe I didn't use it long enough (over a month), but I just stopped it. I am not a major supplement person... and I already take flax oil in the AM (1tbs drizzled on a slice of whole wheat toast), a multi vitamin, joint supplement (eek! when I remember!) and a bc pill each day. That is PLENTY! > > > > I have a question for those of you who use Tonalin CLA. Do y'all > take the recommended 1 softgell per meal??? Guest guest
You know I tend to go along with what you are saying. I take CLA and I love it! I know it has been said that you get it in your meat and dairy, and it's a waste. BUT....I went off of it only because I was trying to spemd less on supplements. Then I noticed my body was looking a little different not tight and toned like before. I then started on 2 a day and the difference was noticeable within 2 weeks..my little experiment. So this is one supplement I will never stop taking... it is worth trying you may be one of the ones it helps!! Guest guest
OK, I have it and it's sitting in front of me. 1000 mg. It says 1-2 caps 3x/day. How much are you taking? Pam, you said 2/day? I also see 4/day? , what did you decide? Those pills are HUGE. But they are thin so they go down ok. Hate pills... Jami > > > > > > I have a question for those of you who use Tonalin CLA. Guest guest
I am taking one with breakfast and one with lunch. Haven't noticed much but I haven't been able to work out hard because of my injury. I would love to hear back from you as to whether you can feel/see any changes. Thank goodness they are gel caps and go down easily. I think they aren't the biggest pills I've ever seen! And........thank you to the people that responded and recommended a chiropractor for my ribs. I'm so bummed that I'm injured. I have a tournament in June and so want to be ready for it. I'm focusing on grip strength and doing the stepper for my legs since there isn't any impact. I think it's the not knowing how long it's going to take to heal part of me that is getting to me. Guest guest
I am taking it 3 times a day. I just started though so...we'll see if it helps. Guest guest
I would also be interested to know everyone's progress with this. I've been debating whether I need a little extra something to help me in my progress. I'm not at my goal weight yet, still 161 lbs at 5'4. I feel like the scale isn't budging but I am losing inches. I have a lot of baby belly left which I want to firm up and lose! On 4/6/06, butterflyjen1 <butterflyjen1@...> wrote: > > I am taking it 3 times a day.
