13 WEEKS 1ST PREGNANCY WITH TSH OF 15.6

Good day all,

This is Vicky from Delhi, India.

Am 13 weeks pregnant with all blood tests/sonography returning normal

except TSH of 15.6.(normal 0.3 - 4) My Gynac today dropped a bomb that

we might be late and the child might be born with a low IQ due to high

TSH levels and we must act fast. As if that was not scary she asked me

to schedule a apointment with a ultra busy endocrynologist on Tuesday

thats 3 days from now (so much for fast?????). I am having no symptoms

of Hypothyroidsm as in am slim/no hoarse voice/no hair fall/ no

depression (except when i go to the docs.......... ).My T3/T4

reports will come in on wednesday. Anyone with High TSH levels during

pregnancy who have delivered children are requested to share their

experience and what i can hope to hear at my TUE apointment.
