Thanks everyone!

You did give us a lot more to think about. I didnt even think beyond

the breathing problems that she might have. I think I will have to

sit down and talk to her about the bruising issue, (she will

probably be upset that I said this) but she is not a " chesty " person

to begin with so the question about the breast bruising should be

interesting to see what Dr Rand has to say about that. I guess I am

not sure what you mean by face creases? You mean actual sores or

just lines that you get if you sleep on a pillow that usually fade

quickly?? If that is the case I wonder why it takes time for those

to heal?!

Well, it is definitely some things that we have to sit down and talk

about before we see Rand again at the end of August. We have started

a word document at home and here at work I have a copy so whenever

questions arise like this we can add them.

It has been a really emotional and rough week for both of us. 's

mom and step dad in FL have decided they are coming up for the

surgery (first they were, then they werent now they are again). It

is tough because I know deep in her heart she wants her mom there

and on the other hand I know that she is worried about having her

mom there. I wish I could say I wanted her mom there, but her mom

has osteoporosis and other medical issues and her step dad does too

right now (just finished chemo) and the two of them think they can

take the train into Boston and walk up to the hospital (anyone who

has had Rand knows that for two people with pain that hill is

impossible) I really want them to come after her surgery when she is

home, but I dont want to be a jerk either. She is my priority

though, I really dont want to have to worry about getting her

parents around and all the worries of them being there. I just dont

know what to do.....
