Guest guest
W., congratulations on your good labs. You can't eat sugar, salt, or caffeine -- why is this? Harper (AIH 5/00)
Guest guest
Jerry -- I hate to tell you -- sort of -- but I've been out tending my lemon tree and eating wild strawberries! Just had to rub it in. Harper

Guest guest
What GREAT news!! Don't give up all hope. Sugar Free Fudge scicles are to die for as well as some of the ice cream. I don't know if you have a PUBLIX grocery store but their ice cream is really good. There are also loads of cookies that are sugar free but you have to watch out for those. Anymore, the sugar free stuff isn't too bad. Nothing like 26yrs ago when all I could drink was Tab :>( I don't know about the sodium count. I've never had to watch that. Take care & CONGRATULATIONS again, Debbie/FL > > > > Hi everyone! > > > > I got my bloodwork back today, and for the first time since last > > August everything is within normal range. on Aug 3 last year had: > > AST of 1815, now 30. I need to be patient. My will come down too. I've only been on Pred for three months and imuran for a little over a month. Do you feel as good as your labs? Hope so. Guest guest
Thanks for asking. I had upped the imuran from 50 to 100 about two months ago - I think that things really normalized when that kicked in. One of the biggest things that made me feel better was trying not to worry so much - this group has been a big help. Hang in there and it will get better. I don't know if I'm really feeling better or if good news just makes you feel that way - in any case, I raked leaves and transplanted azaleas today. Probably not the brightest thing to do, considering I haven't exactly been the most active person since last summer - I'm sure that I will pay for it tomorrow. That's OK - I'll just sit in my cubicle at work, hope no-one comes to bother me, and hope my computer doesn't talk back too much! I was never a gardener until we moved into this house three years ago - right before I got sick had started some major yard work - hopefully I can get back to it soon. All of the daffodils are up now! That reminds me - has anyone seen in their digging through research anythng about pesticides or weed killers being a possible trigger for AIH? I know that some medications can trigger it. We have had a major ant problem - in the last two years we have used more chemicals than I would like to, also weed killers for the yard. Just wondering. > , Yeah! I need to be patient. My will come down too. I've only been on > Pred for three months and imuran for a little over a month. Do you feel as good > as your labs? Hope so. Guest guest
, Feels good to know your lab results are in the normal range. Keep up the commitments that are being helpful. aumesh ------------ At 10:08 PM 02/23/2001 -0000, you wrote: >Hi everyone! > >I got my bloodwork back today, and for the first time since last >August everything is within normal range. on Aug 3 last year had: >AST of 1815, now 30.
