Harper....

Thanks for your help.

I too am a 57 year of woman.....Funny to get this disease at our age. I've always been very healthy.

I would like to get Palmer's book that you talked about. What is the name of it?

Hi! I know what you mean. I had taken a buy out package from Kraft Foods and gotten a part time job.....then got sick. I not been working since.

For the little I was making part time it isn't worth it. Since I've been sick my whole attitude has changed. As I feel better I am doing things that I enjoy. I plan to do some traveling, etc.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have often wondered what type of profession you had been in, but just never asked. It is so good to see you posting, you truly are wealth of information and your genuine concern for all of us always shows in your posts.

, thank you for not saying "Self-centered So-and-so!"

I feel I haven't done much, haven't made any difference to the world, but I certainly have had some good times! Every day has some joy to it. When my daughter was small, at bedtime we'd choose "the best thing that happened today." On the grimmer days, I still do that, and there's always something wonderful.

I, too, was so glad that you shared your story. I still want to have that

cup of coffee or tea with you when I can get out to SF, maybe in 2002. At

the moment, I'm just trying to get through the next few weeks which include

my 62nd birthday, the first anniversary of my husband's death, probate, and

the starting of a new relationship with a wonderful old friend (widower).

Love to you,

Ginger, what an intense time you're going through! Please keep in touch, and I'm very much looking forward to coffee with you when you come to SF. 2002 is just around the corner.

Harper,

I, for one, would never say " self-centered so and so " . I really

appreciate your story and especially the caring that you have for all

of us here. Enjoy your day.

I loved your phrase "pardon my French" because, as you probably know, that's what people in the U.S. say when they swear.

Dear Harper,

I don't think any of those things...I appreciate every answer you write to me and to others and a lot of my knowledge on the subject of AIH comes from you and the group and the resources that everyone post. You can't imagine what a confort it is for me. The note I send you what just checking out if you got my question (sometime my english sounds so much like my french). I imagine I was trying to get more from you LOL LOL because I appreciate and regard your answers as well researched. Thanks again. and take care of yourself.

I just don't know, , about the progress of cirrhosis. I don't know if anyone does. Don't think I'm underestimating your knowledge when I give a long answer. It's usually for new people in the group rather than just for the person who first asked a question who will be reading the response to your question. I remember when I started and didn't know anything at all. Harper
