Guest guest
thanks Tina and Gracia, so if my DHEA is off, do you think my dr. will test cortisol? The reason I ask is b/c she said a while back that she thought my problem was estrogen or cortisol, so I'm wondering why she isn't testing those. She is testing the antagonists though and Im wondering if that's enough. _________________________________________________________________ Learn how to choose, serve, and enjoy wine at Wine @ MSN. http://wine.msn.com/
Guest guest
when you go for the lab work tell them you also want estrogen it's just as vital--tell them or the doctor or do it yourself---as for cortisol -- is so right I would say the rate of getting this one correct is worse off than trying to predict what a tsh lab result is. You don't have to be tested for cortisol if you are low in dhea this would be enough to realize the adrenals are having problems. As well as low in estrogen/progesterone and testosterone. > thanks Tina and Gracia, > so if my DHEA is off, do you think my dr. will test cortisol?
