18/10 Stainless Steel Cookware

I'm a bit confused about this. I have, what I believe to be, top quality 18/10

stainless steel cookware but a magnet will not stick to the pots. Have I been

duped? Am I not reading this correctly? The cookware set me back a huge amount

of money many years ago but I have never given it the magnet test. Please help!

Oh, and please don't tell me I am succumbing to " brain fog " , being my second 'I

don't understand' post! LOL

==>Jen, try the other test using baking soda - I think it is in the

Cookware Folder. A magnet sticks to my heavier better pots, but I

can't find the number on them, i.e. 18/10. I don't think you are

succumbing to brain fog. What brand of cookware do you have?
