Guest guest
Hi all, Been lurking for a while here and this is my first post. I have done many low-carb or no-sugar diets. Found this diet through the SCD diet group or the healing crow group. Did well on the SCD diet, but my Gerds got worse at night. I have been gluten-free for several years. I have Fibromyalgia and fatigue problems. I watch sugar, gluten and avoid starches. I have been missing something. I cheat sometimes because I still crave the old way. Also at time I have a strange thing happen. I will smell ammonia coming out of me like out of my nose or my stomach. Naturally, the doctors think I am nuts when I tell them this. I also have some of the problems listed on the site. I grow cysts on some of my organs like my gallbladder. I could go on for ever. I found the gluten link on my own and do not eat gluten foods at all. Like I said I am missing something. I have been reading the files. There are so many where do I start? I am not feeling well these days and need a hand hold to get started just a little brain died. I have avoid diets that do the ratio thing, is it hard to do? The pizza diet sounds much better. Is the diet expensive to buy all the supplements? I can't afford a $500 a month diet like some of them out there. Shari
Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I read somewhere that ammonia smell is produced by bacterium H. pylori (that also causes ulcers). I also know a person who has it and the smell is very distinguishable. So maybe it would be wise to check yourself for that. All the best, Jana Sharon M.
