for preparing nuts: soaking nuts overnight in warm sea salt water and then in

the oven for twelve hours on warm. I noticed the recipe on the website

recommends only putting the nuts in an oven with the light on for four

hours...is my way of preparing the nuts ok? Is warm too high?

+++Hi Samia,

I've soaked and dried many kinds of nuts, and found my oven was too warm for

most nuts which burned with only the oven light on. It took longer for almonds

to burn, but softer nuts like pecans and walnuts burned more quickly.

If you check the nuts frequently and they start to brown either lower the heat

or use only the oven light but watch them carefully too, or just air dry them.
