Guest guest
Hi Bee - Thanks so much for all of the info you have given us. It is amazing! I have been reading more about the antifungal stage and then the probiotics. I am close to being ready to start more antifungals (other than the garlic and VCO), so I was wondering what is the best thing to do first. Do I take oil of oregano in addition to the garlic? Can I take it in place of the garlic? The garlic smell is driving my husband crazy! How do I know if and when to take Nystatin? It is going to be a bit tricky for me to convince any of my doctors that I need a prescription for this. I don't even go to them as they would not even believe in candida overgrowth. Would I take Nystatin orally or do an enema (or both)? Most of my problems are GI issues, so I would think an enema would be good, but I want to be sure I do it/them at the right time. Also, at what point in the antifungal stage do I start taking probiotics? Is this based on my symptoms or is it just timing? I apologize if I missed any of these things in the files - I am ready to tackle this thing, so I just need a bit more guidance! Thank-you so much! Thats what I meant by VCO. I guess I was just thinking its time to add something else. Thanks - Trish

The garlic smell is driving my husband crazy! ==>Garlic is started on the antifungal stage, but if you are already taking it then you wouldn't need any other antifungal. But if the garlic smell is driving your husband crazy you could take oil of oregano instead, or take Kyolic garlic capsules (available at the health store). You do not need more than one antifungal (in addition to coconut oil, which is considered part of the diet). > > How do I know if and when to take Nystatin? It is going to be a bit tricky for me to convince any of my doctors that I need a prescription for this. I don't even go to them as they would not even believe in candida overgrowth. ==>You do not need to take nystatin in addition. " More is not better. " Nystatin is listed as an alternative antifungal for people who like the convenience, and because it is also versatile for other applications, i.e. sniffing for killing candida in the lungs, etc., as listed in my article - if you need it. > > Would I take Nystatin orally or do an enema (or both)? Most of my problems are GI issues, so I would think an enema would be good, but I want to be sure I do it/them at the right time. ==>The best enema to do first is a coffee one because it helps your liver and your adrenals to decongest and dump toxins. After that you can use garlic tea as an antifungal in an enema instead of nystatin. Alternate it with a probiotic enema as written in the Enema Folder, using cabbage rejuvelac or non-dairy acidophilus. > > Also, at what point in the antifungal stage do I start taking probiotics? Is this based on my symptoms or is it just timing? ==>After you've been taking antifungals for awhile and your worst die- off symptoms have diminished you can start on probiotics. > > I apologize if I missed any of these things in the files - I am ready to tackle this thing, so I just need a bit more guidance! Thank-you so much! ==>No problemo my friend. I haven't written much about when to start antifungals and probiotics. Bee

Would I get worse/different die off symptoms from a different antifungal? Or should it be about the same because I am used to taking so much garlic? > > > > > > Would I take Nystatin orally or do an enema (or both)? Okay, thats great that I don't need to use nystatin. I will definitely read more about the enemas and try to prepare myself for this! > > > > Also, at what point in the antifungal stage do I start taking > probiotics? Die-off symptoms are not necessarily an indicator of whether the candida program is working or not. IMO garlic is probably a little more effective than oil of oregano. > > > Would I take Nystatin orally or do an enema (or both)? At what point do you stop the antifungals? +++You stay on the same amount of antifungals. When you start on probiotics your body is jockeying 4 things at the same time: 1) eliminating foods that feed candida, 2) building up your immune systems with diet & supplements, 3) killing off candida with antifungals, and 4) implanting good bacteria in your digestive tract. You do not change anything when it's going well! lol! If you have too many symptoms on steps 1 & 2 the changes need to be made more slowly or gradually, and if you have too many symptoms on steps 3 or 4 you cut back on the amount being taken, or change to a different kind. When alternating the antifungal with the the probiotic, how long do you wait between the two? Do both in the same day or what? Should you do these regularly? And is nystatin ok to do as an enema? I remember reading that in the files. I even got a script for it from my doctor to try it orally and as an enema. Val --------------------------------- Ring'em or ping'em. Then you've only upset your bowel's normal functioning for 1 day. Wait 4-5 days, not doing any enemas, which allows the bowel to normalize, and then do them again. After doing them for a month cut back to doing them once a week, and after another month only do them every 2 weeks. After 3 months you can do them once a month, and stop altogether after 6 months, unless you really slip on the diet and find you need them again. ==>That's great you got a script for Nystatin. It is great for an antifungal enema and it is easy to mix. When I cured my candida, nystatin was the only antifungal I used in enemas. I found it really gave me a lot of relief, taking away a lot of the stress and tension caused by candida toxins. The coffee enema made me feel re-energized or rejuvenated. My, what a tremendous help enemas were to me. Bee

My dieoff makes me think that I definitely need to do the antifungal enemas, and I have just brought some pau darco tea to use instead. ==>Yes, you can do them both in the same day; do the antifungal in the morning, and wait 4-5 hours, or that same evening, and do the probiotic enema. (I have done this previously but not sure if it is okay to do) ***Or do I have to do coffee one day, and then 4-5 days later antifungal and alternate this way? ***I feel the coffee one will help get rid of any die off the antifungal one causes. I thank you in advance for any assistance luv Kat ==>That's great you got a script for Nystatin. It is great for an antifungal enema and it is easy to mix. You can take them at the same time. Your body knows how to use them no matter what is mixed together in the stomach. Cheers, Bee
