Guest guest
This is probably die-off: the candida leaving your body. Don't be worried - it is GOOD that the toxins are being omitted. Don't take any medications for it if you can help it. Lee s3340@... wrote: > I've been on diet for about 3 weeks and I just started taking > Diflucan 3 days ago. He is treating me for vulvodynia which is caused by all the vaginal infections I used to get. It's a big pain! Thanks for all your help and advice. Nathalie >> Hi, Nathalie! I think we all have our own experiences with Diflucan, those of us who have taken it for the annoying yeast infection and vaginal discharge that gives us laundry every day. My Doctor put me on Diflucan for one day ($25.55 for one pill, I paid here in Canada) and it remedied the problem....eventually... but then it came back. I believe someone on this list posted that Diflucan is an antibiotic, and apparently yeast/candida loves it and will only alleviate the discomfort and symptoms temporarily, only to have them return as they were before, if not worse. As for myself, the yeast returned, but luckily for me, it is not NEAR as bad as it was before. I don't know whether to compliment the diflucan, or the diet I'm only partially following because I'm too tired to cook for myself here at home, so will eat what I'm served and avoid the yeast loving foods if I can. Just my own 2¢ ladies (and gentlemen) Love, ps - it is GREAT to be back, and I've missed you all very much :-) 2000/8/12 10:13:34 am EST ~~~ Some people come into our lives and quickly go Leaving bruises and scars on our hearts and souls Some stay awhile and leave gentle footprints Of Love and Respect on our hearts And we are never, ever the same. Guest guest
, Diflucan is not an antibiotic, it is an antifungal it kills off the candida. Before Diflucan I tried the herb Tannilbit which I think may have helped just a bit. Diflucan is usually taken like you said for a normal yeast infection, but because some people have it so long and the Candida grows throughout the body a longer and much stronger dose is needed to kill it off. It will only work if you are on the special diet and taking acidopholus and bifidum at the same time. We'll see how it goes. I'll let everyone know after my two weeks are up. And Will's (my bud) got a southern californian accent mixed with a southern accent heard in the deep south, and it took me a bit to get used to him, but now I understand him just fine :-) Love, 2000/8/13 7:30:29 pm EST ~~~ Some people come into our lives and quickly go Leaving bruises and scars on our hearts and souls Some stay awhile and leave gentle footprints Of Love and Respect on our hearts And we are never, ever the same. Guest guest
<<<I have sinus and breathing problems from candidia. Does anyone else have hearing problems?>>> Have you tried quitting lactose(milk, cheese, butter, etc.). Dairy products irritate mucous membranes since your nasal cavaties are sensitive. Some people can handle lactose and some people can't. Personally, I think most people can't. Try quitting it for a month and see if some of the sinus problems go away. I used to get sinus and pressure headaches before I quit drinking/eating dairy. Since quitting, I no longer do. --Sophia
