Guest guest
I haven't been the same either. It's like I am trying to get to know a new version of myself and one that isn't so appealing. I have no idea if there is a test. I just had an MRI done do you think it will come up that way? I just want my brain back!

I just want my brain back! I felt that way too.. Have you been doing the low-carb diet? I felt like an onion, peeling, peeling.. Those toxins that get pumped in your blood can seriousy affect you. I consider it normal that I feel differently now.. If anything, I " feel " now. G
Guest guest
Dee......I have not only candida but also lyme disease, (lyme bacteria eats up the magnesium in one's body, so one must take magnesium supplements to replace the loss.) This bacteria can also get into the brain. Most people, that have lyme disease, also have the white matter on the brain. MS people also have white matter on the brain.....many believe that MS is caused from the lyme bacteria. Also people with " lyme " have a " magnesium deficiency " !....this is because the lyme bacteria eats up the magnesium in the body. *****There are people that have MS and Fibro, and other disease's when put on antibiotics or iv's for lyme, start to get better. Some will go through a herx ( pain and ill from the die off of the bacteria that cause's toxins in the body when killed.) before they start to feel better. Many are now taking Activated MMS to try and kill this bacteria. They say lyme bacteria is very hard to get rid of, and could take up to a year! ***** you can do different searches on--- Lyme & Fibromyalgia,---- Lyme & MS,---- Lyme & Candida,----Lyme & Parkinsons,----Lyme & Alhzhimers,-----Lyme & Dementia.-----Lyme & Lupus. There is so much to read about this horrible disease called Lyme, there are so many of us now believe that lyme is behind most of the disease's. It can cause and distroy just about anything in ones body. Lyme info is a good place to visit. _www.lymeinfo.net_ (http://www.lymeinfo.net) Myself,...(and this is only my oppinion), I believe the lyme bacteria is behind many of our disease. Anyone that would like to join a group, and fine out more about lyme,.... this is a great group, very smart. _www.lymecommunity.com_ (http://www.lymecommunity.com) ---- because your underlying cause of candida, may be this bacteria, or maybe the co-infections you can get infected with, when infected with lyme. I am not saying that anyone on this group has lyme. This is something you must check into and decide. If you think you should see a doc, make sure it is a lyme litterit MD (LLmd)...the lyme community group could help you with finding a LLmd. *****If anyone is taking magnesium for headaches, and the headaches are better or gone, you need to see a LLmd. *****remember.....lyme bacteria can get into the brain, and this bacteria does eat up the magnesium. If your first thought is, I don't have lyme. It would be much safer for you to get and oppinion from a Lyme Litterit Doctor.....why this doc, they are the only ones that study lyme disease, and know if you have it or not. ( the regular md's and infectious disease md's don't know beans about lyme disease. ( infectious disease doctors are just plain dumb, when it comes to lyme disease. I know,....I have gone to 4, and I will never waste a penny on them again. Sorry, I kind of got carried away here, but maybe it will give someone a little insight on there health problem. <>kathy<> ---------------------------------------------------- In a message dated 1/7/2008 9:42:48 AM Central Standard Time, dee@... writes: I always understood that the brain was made mostly of cholesterol! Guest guest
This company has had great success in treating lyme. www.vonner.com Ask for Ann, if you call to get information. One of the ladies that used to work there was cured of lyme using this doctor's protocol and it has helped 3 other friends of mine also, though sometimes you have to repeat the protocol once more if it is a tough case. tina > > > Dee......I have not only candida but also lyme disease, (lyme bacteria eats > up the magnesium in one's body, so one must take magnesium supplements to > replace the loss.) Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear this Kathy, and do hope you get it sorted. This seems like one of the cases which definitely merit the use of MMS. Dee -- Re: candida in the brain? Guest guest
I think thats true. That is the information given on various sites. I have severe candida and I certainly have the reported effects of candida in the brain. There is a 21 day juice fast which has reported good results in getting rid of candida. I'm on it at the moment. Helen candida in the brain? Guest guest
I read an excellent explanation in regards to this (I will try to find the source in my notes) and it convinced me that it was not possible to actually have candida in your brain - but it is the candida's toxic byproducts that cause the brain fog. You probably all notice brain fog is worst when you are in a die off phase during which the candida is being reduced but toxins from die off are greatly increased. Also, juice fasting is the worst way to attack candida! It feeds it! With juicing you are then only taking in sugars and carbs, candida's two best friends. You'll feel better for a short while because the die off will cease so you'll have a temporary reduction of some symptoms, but then you will feel so much worse. (I speak from experience and have a top of the line juicer that now mocks me from the cupboard This is why the effective protocols have you eliminate all fruit in the first phase and reduce your vege ( & grain) intake to moderate amounts of the lowest carb or glycemic index choices for example: lettuce, tomato, broccoli, cabbage, greens, onions. In the first stages of your battle you should strive to keep your daily carb intake under 60. Which basically amounts to 1 modest salad, with no other grains or vegetables! You need to increase your healthy fats & proteins which are essential in supporting your body's efforts to build new cells, tissue, enzymes, antibodies and hormones. This is where our stamina, muscle strength, biochemical balance are all derived. And furthermore, candida toxins are so hard on our cell membranes that we need to support these even more! Healthy fats & proteins are those that come from organic, grass-fed meats; eggs; butter; og, extra virgin coconut oil; cold or expeller pressed extra virgin olive oil; palm oil; poultry; fish; cod liver oil and in later phases if you can handle them raw & cultured dairy products. There is actually a formula for determining your fat/protein/carb intake ratio and I have found it impossible to even come close to taking in the amount of fat I should, but in trying to do so, I am steadily recovering, so forget everything you've been taught about fat and eat up!
