I am pretty certain this is my adrenal cry out but I wondered how many of you felt this who have candida? ==>It could be your adrenals crying out because your body is going through a lot with the natural healing process. Many people with candida experience strong heart beats they can feel in their ears or when laying down. When that happens take 3 slow deep breaths in a row, and very slowly let them out too. This will switch your body from the sympathetic system to the parasympathetic system and will help slow your heartbeat. But also remember natural healing causes the body to muster its forces to heal, and a stronger or faster heartbeat can be necessary for the body to create for the condition it is trying to handle at that time. > > Also, do many of you also have mercury or heavy metal issues along with candida? I believe mercury can interfere with your heart rate as well but would like to know if anyone has experience with this. ==>The diet will definitely help your body chelate out heavy metals, but the body is very very good at doing that anyhow, even on a poor diet. There are many things other than mercury that can interfere with your heart rate. Concentrate on following the diet, and doing the candida program and the heavy metal interferences will dissipate, along with other problems. But if you can afford it you could get your mercury fillings removed, but for those that cannot please do not feel you are doing your health a disservice. The diet definitely chelates out heavy metals very effectively. > > I take magnesium and calcium and adrenal support and both usually help the heart rate but I have noticed it is much worse since I started treating candida. I have a personal theory that treating candida is hard on my adrenals. ==>Treating candida the natural way musters the body to do its job which is hard on your adrenals and on your liver and on your intestines, your brain, etc., etc. But you can not avoid going through the healing process to get to a healthy condition. This is why other helps are also recommended, i.e. dry skin brushing, the lemon juice and ocean sea salt, coffee enemas, etc. The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone experienced a quickened heart rate from Lyme? I have mitral valve prolapse, which is not causing my elevated heart rate. My cardiologist is hooking me up to a monitor next week that I'll wear home for 24 hours. My resting heart rate is about 96 bpm and it's gotten up to 111. My LLMD said that it could be that the Lyme or Bartonella is in the connective tissue around my heart. But she told me to definitely get all tests necessary to rule anything else out. So far my thyroid function came back toward hypo thyroid (not hyper, which usually causes anxiety and fast heart rate). I'm taking thyroid medicine for subclinical hypothyroid. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this due to Lyme or Bartonella. Thanks, Janet
Guest guest
When I first got really sick from Lyme, my heart rate went from a normal 64 to 72 or even 80 for periods of time, but not continuously. Once treatment started, this disappeared. I also have bartonella. Maureen
Guest guest
I have a very rapid heart rate - it likes to hang out between 150- 175bpm if I don't take a beta blocker. I also have hypOthyroid and wonder how crazy high it would be if I was actually hypErthyroid?
Guest guest
Hi Janet, I'm new here and this is my first post. For me the first signs I had Lyme were cardiac in nature, including symptoms that mimicked a heart attack. Lyme definitely effects the heart and can cause very high and very low heart rates, as well as irregular beats and chest pain- been there and done that and was hospitalized several times for this. My resting heart rate is now permanently higher than it used to be- generally in the 80 to 100 BPM range. I had bouts of chest pain with heart rates near or exceeding 200 BPM, which is not pleasent, and required sublingual nitroglycerin. It took about a year and half for that to calm down, and I now have to be careful about things to avoid triggering heart probelms- avoiding caffiene and the like. You didn't specify how long you've had MVP- were you born with it or were you just suddenly diagnosed with it more recently? I ask because Lyme can cause MVP in people who didn't have it previously. > > Hi, > > Has anyone experienced a quickened heart rate from Lyme? Guest guest
Tachycardia is more commonly a symptom of adrenal distress, though it also occurs in thyroid disorders. Lyme does pretty much the same thing to the adrenal glands that it does to the thyroid. When that goes sideways, the process that manufactures and metabolizes adrenaline can go wonky, creating the cardiac symptoms. (The problems many of us have with epinepherine and cortisone drugs are related to this, too.) Lymies who are having tachycardia problems should definitely discuss a full adrenal workup with their doctors.
