Guest guest
That sounds so painful. I hope it clears us Very, very, quickly. My face looks like I had a stroke, because my whole jaw has shifted position. My cheekbone, ear, jaw and lips are all painful and swollen. I cant talk without slurring and I cant eat anything but soup. It even hurts to swallow. I felt it coming on saturday when I tried to split a pill by biting it in half. I felt a grinding and spiking pain and then within an hour, I was drooling mess. I just had a long overdue Remicade infusion and took MTX last night, but it hasnt helped at all. Looks like I will have to call the RD and make an appt. I might have a flare that lasts a few days but this is just frightening!! Now all I need is a bell and a hump and I can play Quasi- Moto. If anyone else has ever had something like this, would you chime in. It would be a comfort. Hugs, Deborah Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min. Guest guest
I’ve read recently about a bad mumps epidemic and perhaps that could be your problem. I suggest seeing your GP just in case. God bless. Guest guest
Hi Debrorah, I am so sorry to hear about your jaw flare. I have had a few pretty intense jaw flares, its not fun. Worse then any toothache or any pain I have ever felt. My doctor gives me a cortisone shot when it flares. He says that my dentist can give me some kind of mouth piece to wear when i sleep that should help but I dont really see how that could help because it hits me at the strangest times. I also can feel it coming on before it hits really strong. I have found a spot in my jaw that if I press on it, it does seem to ease it a bit, alteast until I can get the the Rummy. I know your email was sent awhile ago and hopefully you are not suffering with it anymore. But I can feel your pain. Let me know if you discover any other good relief for this kind of flare. in Michigan briah1961 <dbargad@...> wrote: Hi everyone- I am posting because I am having the worst jaw flare of my entire life!
