Guest guest
possibly, but I personally have opted to not have more children because I think I'm poisoned. I don't have money to have amalgams removed and cannot chelate myself until they are. If by chance I became pregnant(very unlikely) I would find a way to have my breastmilk tested, and/or buy breastmilk from donors. I in general feel breastfeeding is the best, but to avoid having another (my ASD child) I'd go with a non milk/casein based formula if I had to. -------- Cayce Unlocking Autism Oregon State Representative NW Regional Representative (AL-ID-MO-ND-OR-SD-WA-WY) http://www.unlockingautism.org/ > > Can I ask whether some here honestly consider NOT breastfeeding for > fear of mercury in breastmilk? > > thanks > > >

He was diagnosed on the spectrum 3 months later and I quit vaccinating. It took me a while to learn about the connections between mercury and autism. I believe I was pretty mercury toxic during his pregnancy and the breastfeeding period. I had a mouth full of amalgams ate plenty of fish and tuna and what I used to attribute to pregnancy induced mental fog, I now think was mercury induced mental fog. After I started getting my amalgams out and detoxifying, I started to feel and think better. However my point is that I truly believe breastfeeding for so long actually protected my son from having a more severe problem and may be part of why he is recovering so well now at 6 years. Despite the probability of my breastmilk containing mercury I also think it is very possible that there may be properties in breastmilk that also help one eliminate mercury, maybe glutathione?.... Furthermore I think it is a huge reason why he was rarely sick, never needed antibiotics and why yeast has never been an issue for us in his bio-medical and chelation treatment. So, this doesn't directly answer your question about not breastfeeding, but I just wanted to add in my 2 cents. ~ Karin
Guest guest
Thanks for sharing that Karin, I absolutely agree that breastfeeding is of utmost importance for the health of a baby. No formula can do for the gut flora what breastmilk does. > > My son abruptly weaned himself at 3 years of age after a vaccination. > He was diagnosed on the spectrum 3 months later and I quit vaccinating. > It took me a while to learn about the connections between mercury and > autism. Guest guest
I have read on ldn.org that it is deemed safe while breastfeeding but am still feeling a little uncomfortable... I will get ldn next week and want to start my journey with it. I was just wondering if any of you have used it while breastfeeding. I know some people are awake and have vivid dreams. Did any of your babies experience any symtopms like that as well? I am just a little nervous with the baby.. Any helpful experience would be great... Thanks
