Numbness and Humira

I woke up a week ago and my entire right side of my right thigh was

numb, and still is. I was reading the materisl on Humira and this

could be a symptom of a nervous system disease brought on by the

Humira. Anyone know anything about this? My rheumy is out of town

until next week so I have to wait to speak to her about it. If this is

due to the Humira, and what else could it be really, then I imagine

that means I'll have to come off the Humira. But is this permanent?

Will I have to see another doctor to determine that? Does this mean

I'll have the same problem with Enbrel? I'm running out of medication

options here and am scared of not having anything I can take for this

and just being left to watch myself get sicker. Any thoughts would be

useful! Thanks!

Paris

[Editor's Note: If I were you, I would get to a hospital emergency room.

Numbness is nothing to fool around with. IF it is caused by Humira, it does not

mean that you cannot take Enbrel. They are two vastly different chemical

formulae. Hope you get to the bottom of this soon. Kathy F.}
