Praying for you Vickey....Have they discussed taking you off the Enbrel? I am

specifically praying that you get the info tomorrow so you don't have to wait

the whole stinking weekend. Been there. Call for your results tomorrow. Don't

wait for them to call you....just on the off chance that the results ARE in and

someone at the desk runs out of time to call you. I've had that happen too just

to find out that I could have known the results on Friday after all. Praying

that in the meantime you have some peace. I know for a fact that peace is

possible even in the midst of a terrifying storm. Most of all, praying for good

results or something that can be fixed. And just because I have learned some

incredible things during this trying time in MY life, I'm praying that you are

open to learning whatever life can teach you right now from this. If you expect

to learn, you'll be amazed. -Betz

Hi all,

Havent posted in a while..been busy and sorta not feeling well..I have

been on enbrel fro almost 2 months now and my pa is getting

better..but yesterday I had an EGD done which is where they look down

in your stomach with a light..He found a hiatus hernia which I already

know was there..but also found a suspicious lesion in my esophagus..He

called it Barretts esophagus... That is where you have precancerous

lesions at the bottom of your esophagus..This one he was very

concerned about..so did a biopsy..I should hear something tomorrow or

Monday..

Please pray for me..about this..I would really appreciate it..

Hi Jeanette,

Yes I am having pain in my chest, stomach and difficulty swallowing..I thought

it was the hernia but unsure now..I did not find out today..My best friend is

the nurse so I know she will call asap..

Hi Betsy,

I held off on the Enbrel this week until I hear the results and then will can

rheumy..Also the doctor that did my test his nurse and I are real good friends

so I know she will call me as soon as the results are in..She actually called me

last night and said she checked her desk before she left and the report still

was not in yet..Thank you for praying!!!

I just read on ahead to your mail with the results of your biopsy. I'm glad

everything was ok. I hope it stays that way too for you.

It is amazing how much we can learn from just being a part of this group. Now

we know what Barret's oesophagus is.
