Hi Helen,

Just wanted to belatedly (Is there any other way? lol) welcome you to the

group. It is always good to see our numbers swelling! Having PA I think its the

only thing we like to see swelling! lol

I'm glad you have managed to find a regime that works for you, especially to

the extent that you have been able to cut back on your Indomethacine. I was on

that too for about sixteen years but have now stopped because it was finally

beginning to give me stomach problems.

Maybe I should try some of the things you tried. I particularly liked the

idea of heat and rest in a hot country! lol I live in Scotland.

I tried to cut out food that didn't agree with me. I looked at a banana and

said, 'Right! I'm not eating you cause you don't agree with me' It answered

angrily, 'YES I DO!' lol You can't win.

I hope everything is still ok with you. Again, Welcome.

I am really confused....first of all...does this say " In a message dated August

(8) fifth (5), 2006?????????? Am I in a time warp??? Show tunes, talking

bananas, time warps? Why is this disease not a special report on the Discovery

Health Channel? Helen...nice to meet you and welcome. From now on you shall be

called " Helen from the Future " . I'll be emailing you before the NY Lottery

Drawing.......... I promise to donate most of my winnings to the Arthrits

Foundation and those on this site who are jobless and lack health coverage.

Also...there will be a party with plane tickets provided to all on the site to

one of your special warm locals. And for the record, when my PA first struck, I

was 19 and it happened overnight...woke up in the college dormatory and had to

scoot down 2 flights of steps on my butt at 6 AM in the morning to call my Mom.

I did not get diagnosed for another 24 years. This is some disease, huh? -Betz

LOL Betz,

It looks like she's from the UK, in which case, all of Europe tends to put the

day first, then month, then year....so 08/05/06 would be May 8th, 2006. I could

be wrong, but that's what I'm guessing. You crack me up!!! The choir stories

were TOO much. LOL!!!!

Betsy,

Its GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)but it should be BST (British Summer

Time) and of course we write the date the other way round, just so

the rest of the world realise that we are always one step ahead. LOL

LOL LOL

Keep the light shining,

Ian.

click the bunny dancing in the balcony for a Time Warp demonstration

*heehee*. Thinking about it just makes me giggle.
