Guest guest
If I take more then one Indolplex/DIM pill I get a bad headache and feel sick to my stomach. Most times a half of a pill does the job. As for 2 here is what Dr. said. " Dr. says that using DIM converts E2 into dangerous 4-OHE as > well as improving 2-OHE/16-alpha-OHE so using TMG to wash the 4- OHE > downstream in its metabolic pathway helps. As for what 4-OHE is beats me. So if one has high Total E and is not doing DIM I can't say if it will work. But TMG is so good for you you have nothing to lose if you try it. Phil veganman23 <veganman23@...> wrote: Thanks for the thorough reply. A couple of follow-up questions: 1) Why only 1 DIM per day? What happens if you use more? 2) Do you think the TMG alone was the direct cause of lowering the total E? Does it affect E2? How exactly does it affect E, do you know? Guest guest
Albert 6-oxo works I never tryed it but have talked to guys that were using it they switched to Indolplex/DIM because it cost less and you don't need to take as much. I can keep my E2 in check most times on just a half a pill. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html Phil Albert <w7bjo@...> wrote: Hi i haave the problem of hi e2 and low t and found that using a product called 6-oxo brought down the e2 to normal range and uped the free t b3x. e2 was 135 now less tha 20 free t went from 2.8 to 8.2 in 2weeks. started with the max of 6 2x day for first week then take 3 2x for maint. hope this is helpful. Albert > > >Speaking of Arimidex... > > > >I have been taking generic Arimidex (Anastrozole) .5mg Mon/Wed/Fri for the last 6 months. Have been getting this from a compounding pharmacy (not sure if I should name it here) and at 5 months had my E2 level checked again. It had gone down some but still over the max range (don't have the numbers right here). Considering some take MUCH less than this and have problems with it going too low, this makes me question exactly what they are selling me. Have been thinking of switching pharmacys and trying the brand name stuff. Any thoughts on this? > > > The last I heard there was no generic arimidex - it was still under > patent. > > - - - - > Just another albino black sheep > > >

Guest guest
Well your lucky to know your problem if what your saying is your Secondary it took me 23 yrs to figure this out after seeing one Dr. after the other and the worst ones were Endo's. Here is a link to my story. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=5 & t=9239 First let me tell you doing shots every 2 weeks is old and does not work as well as doing them every week. Even in the AACE Guideline's it states on page 11 to do shots every 7 to 10 days print this and show it to your Dr. or find a better one. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf As you seen in my story I never felt go on TRT until I figured out I am Secondary and have a Hypoptitutary problem to do a head injury. After this all the labs that were low normal are not being treated. My pituitary dose not tell my Adrenals and Thyroid to work and my Growth Hormones are low this my Heart Dr. feels caused my heart problems. So today I treat my low Testosterone I do shots but I do them every 3 days I read a post from one of Dr. Shippens men that he treats his self this way now. He did the book " The Testosterone Syndrome " in this old book now he was down on shots. I do a 80 mgs shot of Depo T every 3 days and the 2 days each in between I do 400 IU's of HCG this keeps me leveled and holds down my Estradiol level. This works so good for me because I eat up the Testosterone as fast as I take it and doing big shots like your doing drives up Estaradiol levels big time. You need to test this do a Quest Labs test #4021 the range is 13 to 54 you need to be at about 20 pg/ml if your over 30 get on some Arimidex to keep this down. If you going to go on it let me know I can tell you how to take it so you don't go to low this is just as bad as going to high. I take Cortef HC to support my low Cortisol levels and Armour Thyroid to keep my Thyroid levels up. Read the posts I did to day they have some good info in them and some good link.
