Guest guest
If you are absorbing at all, then your production is already shut down. There is no need to go beyond the two weeks called out on the literature with the AndroGel before you get tested again. From what I have heard, they got the quality control issue taken care of. It could happen again naturally, but you could easily be like me and not absorb well. Maybe you need to check into some Viagra or similar for the hot girl. How could I get some pictures of the hot girl? Guest guest
All I can tell you is you are shut down from the 5 gram dose and you could have gone lower then your base line test levels. This happens a lot your base is 250 you add gel 5 grams your levels go up to say 400 your brain sees this and stops sending the messages to your testis to make T so now you drop back down and some go lower because there skin does not let enough gel into the blood. This is way androgel says get tested in 2 weeks. If your T was lower then base for say 3 weeks it will take some time to feel better you see going down is worse then going to high and takes more time to recover a good 4 to 6 weeks with your levels up. Get some cialis 20 mgs. and take it every 72 hrs this will have you ready for your friend. The problem with the gels was a long time ago and has been fixed. Are you putting in on right one packet per side spread it over your upper arms and shoulders and down your back as far as you can reach just spread it out good but don't rub it in let it dry from wet. I would eat first then put on a shirt. I feel you levels are up just now your body need to catch up. If you don't feel better in 6 weeks get tested again this is a slow process and you should start to feel better a little everyday. Please dont ask abotu baseline as Ive been thru that ad nauseum - trust me did the full battery of tests and I need T. Received a call from his office (nurse) who said " he wants to up your dose to 10mg). Couple questions... the second package of Andro packets doesn't seem to leave a " gelly " feeling on my skin and upping to 10mg has done nothing, albeit only been on for a few days. So, I've heard some rumblings about quality- control issues with Andro. Is there any truth to this? How long should I give the 10mg Andro before I say " let's try the shots " . If I was on 5mg Andro for 4 weeks, I would think my body would have been far along on the " shutting down T production " curve and upping to 10mg should either produce quickly or be obvious that i don't absorb Andro and should move to shots. Ok, alterior motive is a girl i havent seen in awhile called me and she's coming in from out of town next week and she's only calling me for one reason - and she's one of the hottest girls ever. TVs. movies, Playboy anywhere, so maybe I'm not being fair to the Andro, but I'm impatient. LOL --------------------------------- How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
What percent of men DON'T absorb Androgel? I hope you're right that I just need patience, but I've been a little anxious lately. I used to have the same symptom when my T was low. I could alwys tell before any bloodwork what my T was going to be...either low normal or low based on my mood as well as libido. I've read some guys have done 1 packet in the AM and the second one in the PM, instead of 2 in the AM. Any success stories here? I do have some abdominal hair, so i don't apply too much there as i only want to rub on bare skin. Seems like 2 packets on my shoulders at one time is a lot. If I'm having trouble absorbing, couldn't this exascerbate the problem? > ok after 10 forever of trying to find someone to help me..I found an > endo who had me start on 5mg Andro - did nothing and retested after > 4 weeks. Guest guest
If you have put to much in one area it will look white of like frost if you can tell when your levels are low yes then call the Dr. I can tell when my levels are low so I do know what your saying. One thing that does happen is if you have a Thyroid problem you skin will get thick and gels don't work. But I did 10 grams on my upper arms and shoulders and had not problems. Just did not get my levels up high enough. Phil wondering2one <hopefully1000@...> wrote: What percent of men DON'T absorb Androgel? Guest guest
I think it's more about the T to E ratio then where T is a lot of men have very low T and still have a good libido with good sex. When I first got sick at age 40 my T levels were 120 and my sex was dam good. It was when I got on TRT and got older that the problems started. I have talked to guys with a good libido with higher T to E ratios. Now when your on TRT this is a whole new ball game E's go up and down dam fast when adding Testosterone and the ratio is dam hard to keep good. Dr. Shippen talks about this in his book The Testosterone Syndrome. I agree on the E2 level. If E2 is below say 15 or much above 50 there's not much libido and frequently ED. T plays a role, but once T gets much above 300 I think E2 becomes the dominating factor for libido. When T is very low there is not very much to convert to E2 also - a double whammy I suspect. Once you get T into range and E2 into range then I think ratios become important. ________________ I am human; nothing in humanity is alien to me. Guest guest
I guess my point to the original guy was that he's looking for Androgel to give him an erection for the hottest girl he's ever seen that is coming into town, and he's going to be disappointed to find that AG alone is not the cure for ED. It may even worsen it, as you imply, since for some men, AG converts to estrogen quite readily. That was my case on AG. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of philip georgian Sent: Monday, October 16, 2006 2:11 PM Subject: RE: Re: Androgel - How Long??
