I bought the green star juicer. I pretty much have to stand on the plunger to

push a carrot through, unless I cut the carrot into small strips. Does anyone

know of a juicer that does not require a workout to use? Louise

The time tested reliable, easy to clean and use juicer is the Champion.

I have a Champion juicer and haven'yt had any problems with it.

lI'm on my second one, my first lasted over twenty five years!

You may need to replace the part that does the grinding but it will take whole

carrots

with no problem!

I use a Jack lalande juicer plus I also have another juicer a Masticing juicer

as well. The Jack Lalande is fast and simple so I use that most the time,

although some may say it generates to much heat etc. I see Mike is

promoting this juicer which I may try sounds pretty good.

A Hurom Slow Juicer you can read up on the details. Price isnt to crazy around

329.00 with free shipping. For me my time is limited so something fast that

works well I will use more often.

All the best,

Mike

I don't know if anyone saw my previous post, but the Hurom and Omega VRT 330 are

both excellent juicers. I bought the Hurom after seeing it demonstrated at our

local raw foods restaurant. I use it 2 to 3 times a day. Since the plastic

masticating screw is vertical, the plunger isn't even needed. The food feeds

through on its own via gravity. I've done carrots, broccoli, wheat grass,

greens; all with equally great results. Both are manufactured in the same plant.

Both have a 10 year warranty. You can see demo videos on you tube. I highly

recommend both. And they're extremely easy to clean.

I too have a champion I have had for years. It is a great machine.

My only complaint is that the pulp has too much juice left in it. I

bought an Omega 8003 white juicer and the pulp comes out dry. It is an

auger and the juice does not heat up. It will do the same as the

champion. It is very easy to clean and use. I have had mine for almost 2

yrs and I love it.

Very quiet too.

I can make ice cream or nut butters and pasta too with it.

They run about the same price as the Champion.
