Guest guest
Thank you for the response on the Tihuana Clinic. I really need something that is going to work. I am willing to go to a clinic but our finances are getting rather strained. The tumors I have are total of 3 I can palpate. The one in the left breast is rock hard but has shrunk about 30% since last October (cryo treatment). It has shrunk before without treatments. This tumor is low grade, ER/PR positive (slightly) IDC. It's about 3 cm. The tumor in the right breast is about 1.7 cm. It's highly ER/PR positive and medium growing. The right axilla had 2-3 lymph nodes involved and the tumor is rock hard and movable. It's about 3.5 cm. The PET scan says there are 2 more lymph nodes involved. The breast tumors sometimes ache a bit or burn a bit. My Dr. at the cryoablation center in Alabama (Dr. ), has not seen the PET scan but I am couriering it to him next week. Supposedly there is suspicion of bone mets as well. I had the cryo done Oct 19/09. Can you give me some sort of advice? I am willing to spend another $35,000 on treatment but can't afford much more. After that money is gone, I'll enter main stream medicine but I suspect doing that will be the beginning of the end. I am not sick at all, just have annoying lumps. Orginal dx was Jan/08 but am positive the lump I had in Jan/05 in the right breast was cancer which went away in 7 months as exact same lump returned in August/07. The lumps dx in Jan/08 have since doubled (the right breast) and tripled (the left breast) in size. The mets to the right axilla was palpated (by me) in April/08. Thanks for everyone's help. Guest guest
There has been some resent research at the University of Toronto that Breast Cancer is primarily as Vitamin D deficiency disease. I would seriously consider getting your D levels checked ($40 if you enroll in a study at grassrootshealth.net), and most likely supplement 10,000 iu per day, along with 15 mg zinc, and some magnesium (maybe sunflower seeds... look for natural sources), and leafy green vegetables for vitamin K. After testing if your D levels are already above 60 ng/ml then you can lower your vitamin D dose, maybe to 5000 instead of 10,000. http://www.grassrootshealth.net/media/download/20091103garland.pdf I would also recommend combining with other treatments, as vitamin D is a better preventative than a cure. Guest guest
I think that vitamin D deficiency can contribute to breast cancer. But for many of us, our D levels turned out to be fine. Mine is only a little low but still within the normal range (40), I supplement anyway. But there are a very large amount of contributing factors to breast cancer, so I would hesitate to say breast cancer is primarily due to a vitamin D deficiency. However, I have found that many of the women in our young women with breast cancer group are from northern states. There are only a few from Florida - where I am located. But there are lots in California and Texas. ar > > There has been some resent research at the University of Toronto that Breast Cancer is primarily as Vitamin D deficiency disease.
