Guest guest
Hello Joe, Thanks for responding ! It turns out my mom has UTERINE cancer, NOT Urinary Tract/Bladder cancer. My sister was so distraught yesterday morning when she called me, she couldn't remember if the doc said urinary or uterine cancer and being that there was blood in the toilet after mom went to pee, she just said urinary. She knew it started with a " U " , so that's what she said and thought that it was. Mom has an appt. with an Ob/Gyn tomorrow @ 2:30 p.m. and she's already irritated by it and doesn't understand why she needs an appt. with the gyno. They are going to have a fight on their hands if they want her in " the stirrups " because if I know my mom......she won't do it. He will probably want to " scrape " which I'm afraid will " disturb " the tumor so that it starts shooting off clots and whatnot, making the cancer spread quicker.....so I'm fearful of that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm so glad to see you are alive and well, Joe, after your ordeal. I'm sure your family is overjoyed as well ) What a blessing alternative medicines can be, eh? If only more people would take the time to do their research and not get so frightened by what the doctors say *sigh* Blessings to you, Tami ---------------- Hi Tammy: > > Yes, always a ‘smack in the mouth’ getting that diagnosis. Guest guest
By MRI. My sister, Rosemarie, took mom down to the hospital for an MRI of her lower extremities last Thursday because there is a lump right above her navel and after her stomach was tapped the week before, you could feel the lump. Sis said it was bigger than her hand. She called the doctor yesterday morning because mom was all filled up with fluid again and she wanted to know if the MRI results came in yet. He said that he just got them right before she called and that it was uterine cancer and that he wanted to get her an appt. with an Ob/Gyn immediately. Mom was supposed to go today @ 2 p.m. but she had taken some Move Tea because she hasn't gone to the bathroom in days again and right around 2 would be when the tea would be kicking in, so she didn't go. They rescheduled for tomorrow @ 2:30 p.m. Blessings, Tami How was the uterine cancer diagnosed? > > > > Tami Ickes wrote: > > Hello Joe, > > > > Thanks for responding !
