I can recommend Chinese internal energy exercises--qigong--which not only calm the mind (taking the body out of the flight-or-fight syndrome, which pumps adrenal hormones into the system which do not promote healing) but also pump the lymphatic system through deep abdominal breathing. The lymphatic system, as part of its immune function, flushes toxins from the body.
