While most are running after suppliments, using all sorts of costly therapies, some most simple and inexpensive cures are available in naturopathy. Author has used castor oil packs mainly for Uterian fibroids, ovarian cysts, liver tumors, pancreatitis, urine infections. The effects as pain killer was also noted. Angina pain also gets relieved in many cases. When some such simple therapies including self urine therapy author posted on this list, he got discouraged by " wanting to know from scientific angle why simple things work " attitude by others! In a Press conference, Baba Ramdev, Indias leading ayurvedist and yoga teacher was asked by a journalist why ayurvedic remedies were not subjected to double blind trials, he asked the reporter: " Are you married " " Yes " answered reporter. " any children? " " Yes, two. " " Did you know while marrying that you will be getting children? " " yes, that is accumulated experience of community, I dont have to learn from science " " Same way, ayurveda is accumulated community experience, handed down from one generation to next. No need of testing the proven knowledge by randomized clinical studies " , answered Baba Ramdev. Guest guest
Hello, My friend has several tumors in his brain and he is rarely without an unrelenting headache. Do you know how/if the castor oil packs could be applied for him? He still has hair so I wonder if it would work if I massaged it into his scalp??? Any ideas for pain relief for my friend would be deeply appreciated. Guest guest
For pain, white willow glycerine tincture is the best. I used this every time I had one of those terrible headaches. I never took morphine. You take a swig of this every five minutes if you have to. It is natural aspirin and the relief was great for me. Johanne [ ] Re: Castor Oil Hot Packs for taking on Tumors???
